Maddies pov •

" um hey uncle " Josh says

What did he just say Uncle ?

" wait uncle " I asked in a confused tone

" what are you the kid that were meeting tonight , Maddies bestfriend " my dad said totally ignoring my question

" Ya i guess so " Josh said smirking

" ok can someone tell me what's going on " i said with a stern voice

" well you see Josh here is my step nephew , no you guys are not relatable and Josh here is a very troubled boy " my dad said mugging Josh

" and you see here this is my uncle , who only cares about his career and his family to much to notice that I've changed " Josh said looking back at Myles

" well ok why don't we eat now " my mom said braking the silence

" what no it's just getting to the good part " Jacob said laughing

I slapped him upside the head than grabbed Josh's hand and walked to the dinner table .

" Ummm Ya no " my dad said grabbing my hand and taking it away from Josh's

All threw dinner it was awkward . There would be a few conversations here and there but most of it was quiet.

" well me and your dad are gonna go up to our room , nice meeting you Josh " my mom said while grabbing my dads hand and literally dragging him upstairs .

• Myles pov •

" I don't like him " i told Alana
" myles he probably changed " she said back

" no he didn't i know this kid and once a bad kid always a bad kid " i said sternly

" umm babe you were a bad kid " she said giggling

" we'll see i had to change I have two kids now " i said smirking

" oh shut up " she said while throwing a pillow at me

We laid down and instantly fell asleep .

• Maddies pov •

" do you really have to go " i said while hugging Josh

" Ya it's getting late in plus I don't think your dad likes me very much " he responded

" he doesn't like a lot of people " i said giggly

" that's true , well baby girl I gotta go I'll text you "

" ya I'd love that " i said smiling

" goodnight gorgeous " he said and then kissed my cheek and with that he left
