prologue

Baki's pov

      "And they're coming for me," Baki asked the small man in front of him, Mitsunari. "Not just you, another person as well, the tigress", Mitsunari stated. "The tigress", Baki questioned and Mitsunari smirked at him.

"The strongest beast besides you I know!", the old man excalimed causing me to give him a confused look, who is the tigress?

     We all finally gather at the  underground tournament, where we finally met the dangerous prisoners. I was here with Doppo Orochi, Karou Hanayama, Retsu, Mitsunari and another old man I didn't know.

     "Before we start, we're still waiting on someone",t he old man said with a smile. "Who are we waiting on", I asked and all he did was smirk at me.

      "Sorry, i'm late had to deal with a job", a voice said from behind us. We all turned around to see a woman walking towards us, wait I know her. "Y-Y/n", I asked and all she did was smile at me. "Long time no see, dude", she replied as she stood next to Hanayama. "Hey, Kaoru", she said and he nodded his head.

    "Now recently, 38 fighters fought in a tournament, it was held right here in this colosseum", Mitsunari stated to the prisoners. "It may have been described as the largest, most competitive, most infinitive and most exciting to be held in the modern era", he added. "In fact, I believe it was the greatest in the history of martial arts", he said. "And the winner was 17 year old Baki Hanma", Mitsunari said while looking at me. "And this woman right here, came in third place", he added while looking at Y/n.

     "You may also heard of her, her alias is The Tigress", he stated. As he was speaking I felt the stares of the prisoners, I felt a chill go up my spine.

     "However after all have been said I have grave doubts, that you have no value to place upon the tournament", Mitsunari said. "Sikorsky, you said matches are merely testing waters in order to prepare for the real deal, is that right", he asked. "I brought the five of you here even though you didn't place top five", Mitsunari stated. "You may have an actual reason, so that's why I brought you all here today", he added. "If you all are wondering why I chose the five of you, is because you all wanted to taste defeat  and I'm quite sure any of you opponent will grant you that wish", he stated proudly. "What do you say", Mitsunari asked.

Y/n's pov

    So i'm not getting paid for this, great the old bastard lied to me. Its too late to back out now. "All I want to know is when are we going to start fighting", Baki asked. "How about right now", Doppo asked. "No it should happen in your daily life, where you least expect it like in a kitchen, where there's boiling water", the man with glasses replied.

    "Just name the time", Retsu said.

     "I'm ready whenever, even now", Karou said.

     "I'm ready for a good fight, even now", I said.

"The rules a-"The rules don't really mater, do they, each of us is trying to eliminate one of you or one of us", the old man with glasses said. "To hell with the place, time or rules", he added.

     "That's true, when you have to fight you fight, when you're eating, sleeping or even using the toilet, there's no complaints", I stated. "Wow y/n who knew you would speak like that", Mitsunari laughed.  "Shut it old man", I replied. "Anyone one of you five, can try to take out any of the opposing five, hell it can even start right now", Mitsunari stated. "The game has begun eve right now", the old man with glasses added.

     Baki started to yawn. "Okay then, i'm out of here got a early day tomorrow", Baki said as began to leave. "I really want to brawl, but I have important things to do", I sighed. "Tigress turning down a opportunity to fight shocker", Doppo joked. "Piss off", I chuckled.

    "Let's call it a day then", Mitsunari said and everyone began to leave. "Do you want to walk out together", Retsu asked and I nodded my head. "I'm socked you're in this Retsu", I asked. "Why so", he asked and I smiled at him. "You're not the type for random brawls", I replied and he smiled. "You are right, I'm doing this for the dojo and Doppo", he stated. "What about you, why are you doing this", he asked. "My jobs have been boring, maybe this will be entertaining", I answered. We finally left the colosseum area.

    "Well I hope you survive this", he said. "You too, see you later", I said as I waved him goodbye, he returned it too as he went in the opposite direction. I hope this doesn't turn out too bad. I hope none of those bastard appear in my home and hurt my dog. I will kill them if they do so.
