Rebecca wanted to see me.
Was it okay to see her?
Her bike appeared as soon as I put my phone in my pocket.
"Holy heck!" She screams.
I run up to her. I haven't seen her in forever.
She smiles and gives a hug.
We sit on the bench and start skipping rocks.
"So how was life afterwards?" She asks pulling her hair out of her face.
"Everyone went into a big shock. The masquerade was canceled. Cecile didn't care at all. Dazzle went nuts, your club didn't ever speak to each other again."
"I wish I stayed here." She mumbled. I look at her eyes. "You okay?" She asked.
I wasn't okay. I went into a deep sadness for the past five years. Dazzle died two days ago.
I'm not fine at all.
"I'm alright." I lied.
"What are you doing for Christmas?"
"Don't know."
"Well it's the twenty-first. I don't got anywhere to go."
"You want to have Christmas here with me?"
"Sure."

Her house was darker then usual.
"I don't know what happened but my stepparent's room is empty. They only took the crap from there."
"Oh." I said. She looked a little sad. "Want me to make lunch for you?"
"That'll be nice. Some salad would be nice." The fridge was empty. Darn. I told her to wait as I went and got some food for salad and returned.

She sat across from me on the table.
She ate her salad in peace.
"Rebecca?"
"Yeah?"
"Well what do you think of me staying here?"
"That'll be nice." She said and then she winked at me.
