Lucy's POV:

Today is the day. I wrote in my journal. The day I leave Fairy Tail. Now you may think it's because of Lisanna, but you're wrong... How could I be in the strongest team when I'm so weak my self. I finish writing and look at what I just wrote and gather the courage to head to the guild. I slowly walk out of my apartment and head to the guild ignoring the whispers around me. Ever since the grand magic games, there have been rumors about how I don't disserve to be on Team Natsu the strongest team in Fairy Tail. At first, I didn't let them get to me but as more things have happened the more I start to believe them.

I slowly walk up to the large door that encloses the guild. I slowly open the door to see the usual, Natsu and Gray fighting, Cana drinking, Elfman yelling man for no reason, Mira serving drinks and food, and everyone does the usual strange things they do. I approach Mira and sit in my usual spot at the bar table. "Hello, Lucy the usual?" She asked me in her sweet voice. "No thanks Mira, I'm good for today," I answered trying not to bring any suspicion. "Alright then." She said as she went to the other members asking for food. I look upstairs to the master office Should I just leave That same thought that I've had every day came back. Maybe I should I'm clearly too weak to be in Fairy tail for the strongest team. I stand up just to be confronted by Natsu "Oi Luce want to go on a job, you need rent money right?!" He speaks as if there wasn't anything bad about me being on the team "No. Not today Natsu... Sorry. Maybe tomorrow." I try to speak as calmly as possible trying not to let the thoughts take over. "But that's what you said yesterday day." He says to me with puppy dog eyes "I know. Sorry I just have felt up to it." I lied "Fine tomorrow we will no matter what got it Luce" He spoke to me so confidently "Okay.." knowing I wasn't going to be here tomorrow. Natsu slowly walked away back to fighting with Gray but before they could even start fighting Erza walked in scaring them both and of course they act all friendly-like. I'm going to miss that, I thought as I walked up to the Masters office trying to suspicious.

I walk up to the Masters door and knock. "Come in!" I heard from the other side. I slowly open the door. "What is it, dear child?" He asked me with great suspicion. "I was wondering if I could... Leave Fairy Tail..." I could barely get the words out I always dreamed of going to Fairy tail never thinking I would end up leaving it. "Why would you want to do that child?" He asks wig more suspicion. "I don't think I deserve to be in team Natsu or the guild I'm not the strongest nor, the bravest, I freak out over everything I feel I'm just in the way." I choke out. Great worry filled his eyes "Is this because of all those rumors and stories?" He asks "Kinda.." I answer stupidly "Is this really what you want child?" He said with confidence in a bit of sadness. "Yes, it really is." I say as I look down to him "Then I must give you the proper Fairy Tail farewell. "'One: you most never reveal sensitive information about Fairy Tail to others as long as you live. Two: You must not have unauthorized contacts with past clients or profit personally from them! Three: Even if we walk in different paths, one must always live on as strong as you are able! You must never treat your own life as something insignificant! You must never forget the friends you love for as long as you live!'" He claimed probably loud enough for the others to hear. Tears had rolled down my cheeks as I smile to him "Mast- I mean Makarov. I will never forget my Fairy Tail family." I say as he removed my guild mark. I run out the door after he removes it not wanting to stay any longer.

I could see the dragon slayers in shock Matser- I mean Makarov must have said it loud enough for only them to hear. I quickly wiped my tears make it seem like it never happened so no one would be suspicious. I look over to Natsu who looked at me in shock he began to walk over to me but Gray wasn't done with there fight so I took this chance to run out of the guildhall taking one last look as a member.

How was that?
