Chapter 4: Why

Natsu Pov

"I think Lucy just left Fairy Tail..."The guild went silent after I said those 7 words. "What!?" I heard Erza yell in confusion "Why would she leave?" People started asking many questions as Wendy walked up to me "Natsu... You heard it too?" She said to me in a sad tone. "Yeah... Yeah, I did..." I replied, "How do you know that!" Yelled Gray "I heard Gramps say part of the Fairy Tail goodbye!" I replied as Wendy and Gajeel explain that they heard it too. "But why..." Levy sank to the ground crying "Why would she leave us." She cried "Shh Shrimp I'm sure she had her reasons." Gajeel explains trying to claim her down as she clings to his legs causing him to sit down on the ground next to her. "We should look for her!" I heard Warren suggest but as we all we're about to speak Gramps came down from his office. "I think we should respect her wishes now. She asked to leave there for I let her. It was her wish." He explained making me extremely angry "But she had no reason... She seemed so happy." I thought out loud "Was it all the rumors and story's going around?" Someone said I never thought Lucy would take something like rumors that way, what even were the rumors about. I thought before I heard Erza speak up. "What rumors!" She shouted "The ones..." Levy spoke up "About how weak she seemed during the Grand Magic Games..." She finished "Why would people say she weak!" I started yelling "She the strongest celestial wizard out there!" I kept yelling until I felt Happy hug my arm and I fell to the ground There's no way something like what would get to her" I mumbled "Perhaps it all built up and she probably couldn't take it anymore" Gray said I got up and walked to the guild doors and slowly opened them.

Maybe she still at her apartment I think as I walk down her Street not having the determination to run I know she won't wasn't much time leaving so I know I'd be too late I looked over the water wishing she was there. "Hey, Natsu..." Happy started "Yeah Happy?" I asked, "Do you think she really might still be at her apartment?" He asked "I... I don't really know buddy." He stays quiet until we got to her apartment window we climbed through.

Her room was almost completely empty "I guess she only took the essentials." Happy said "I guess little buddy I think she long gone her sent is almost gone I can hardly smell it. I walk over to her bed and sit down Did she really leave I think. "Natsu you think she might be at the train station?" Happy suggests "Smart think Happy let's go!"

Happy flew us over to the strain station but as we arrive the last train was already long gone "I guess we missed her..." I mumble "Why don't we go back to the guild-" I interrupt him "I'm just going to head home you go back to the guild Happy." I suggest as I walk back home.
