"Go take a swan dive off the roof and hope you'll have a quirk in you next life!" Bakugo laughed maliciously. "Maybe if I did you would be happy...." Midoriya mumbled. His dreams were to big, no-one would miss him anyway. He was bullied everyday and all of the friends he once had, had betrayed him for popularity. Who would care if he jumped.Bakugo didn't know what exactly he had said until he walked towards the edge of the rooftop. "Wait Deku!"

Midoriya was fast walking now. He went up the spiraling stairs to the rooftop. He wasn't sure whether or not Kacchan followed him, not that it mattered. He swung his legs off the side of the building. He put his red headphones on and held a knife in his right hand. When Bakugo finally made it up, he saw Deku cutting himself and quietly singing to the song he was listening to.

"So?" Midoriya started but he couldn't finish his thought. He precariously leaned off the edge. "Should I end it today?" He asked. Bakugo was in shock. He couldn't speak. Midoriya stayed there for what felt like an eternity. And finally... turned around and walked back on the solid ground. Bakugo wanted to hug him, but couldn't. Midoriya walked past Bakugo who still had nothing to say.

Why would he cut himself, sit on the edge of the roof and decide not to jump at the last second? Why do I even care?
_____________

The next day at school. Midoriya didn't show up. He must be sick Bakugo thought. He slept during most of his classes and ignored everyone who tried to talk to him. Who cares? "I don't need Deku now nor will I ever need him again." He thought. "I'm probably better off with him gone."

_____________

Midoriya hadn't showed up to school for the last 2 weeks. The class hadn't even changed to Bakugo. This only helped his point that he was insignificant to anyone. When he walked home he opened the door and Inko was sitting on his couch with his mom comforting her. "What's this about? He asked.

"Katsuki" His mom asked. "When was the last time you saw Izuku?" She asked. So that was what this was about: Deku. "No...I haven't seen him in the last 2 weeks. Inko bursted into tears. She hadn't seen him either.

It's not my fault, It's not my fault, It isn't my fault!

No matter how many times he repeated it in his head, he knew at the back of his mind that this was completely his fault. He knew that he had caused the disappearance of his former best friend, but had no idea about the danger that he had unleashed upon himself.
