"Here, drink this." Daniel handed Zhenya a pill. They were already back at the Diamonds' headquarters.
Zhenya eyed the pill, "Am I supposed to remember after drinking that?"
"You won't." Haknyeon explains. "Not yet, at least. But if you keep taking that every four hours, your memory will start to return."
She looked at Daniel before picking up the pill from his hand, "You seriously invented something that could counter attack the memory syrum?"
Daniel smirks, "I could say, we just like to mess with stuff."
Zhenya just rolls her eyes and drank the pill with the water beside her. As soon as she finished, Daniel goes back to his desk, looking through some of the paperworks.
She noticed how the Diamonds' worked more as an organization rather than together. Unlike the Spades who ask for help, they seem to do things on their own.
They receive their mission and proceed on their way— not even asking for any updates in between.
There was a knock on the door as it slowly opened revealing two members from the Topaz unit.
Hyunbin? Taedong?
Dongho meets them by the door, "What happened?"
The pain and confusion were evident on both their faces. It's like someone just died or something.
"It's the Emeralds and the Rubies." Hyunbin shares, making Haknyeon stand up.
Taedong looked at Daniel who had no expression on his face, "We can't find them."

A FEW METERS AWAY FROM THE DIAMONDS' HEADQUARTERS
"Xinchun, calm down—" Wenjun tries to grab him but he pushed him back.
"Leave me alone!" He exclaims, walking through the streets.
They've been wandering around for a day, asking questions and he knew they were close to the Diamonds' headquarters.
Yanchen stands in front of him, "Huang Xinchun think about what you're doing. They have a whole army there."
"And they have Zhenya!" Xinchun says, feeling furious. "I can't leave her alone like this. I— I can't lose her again..."
"And we won't." Wenjun softly says. "But storming in there wouldn't do you any good."
Xinchun looked back at the older then faced Yanchen. He suddenly spotted something. A house or rather a headquarters, just behind Yanchen.
He pushed Yanchen out of the way to get a clearer view.
The house was pack with guards in every corner and there were a lot of black cars parked in front.
If he squints his eyes more, he could see the Knights' logos in one of the windows.
Xinchun gritted his teeth. His determination to save Zhenya was rising. "This is it."

SERPENTS' HEADQUARTERS IN RUINS

The blow was too hard that everyone had to split up in order to avoid it. Lee Woojin fell unconscious as soon as it did but Woodam instantly found him.
Now they were up and looking for some of their members and hoping that the others escaped just in time.
Guanlin picked up a necklace that was on the ground, "Hyung, isn't this yours?"
Jaehwan turns around as Guanlin hands him a necklace, "I must've dropped it last night."
"Is everyone here?" Jonghyun asked, looking around. The place was in ruins and you could barely think that there was a house standing here.
The Emerald and Rubies were also full of bandages and some were too injured too even fight.
Park Woojin looked around and confirms, "All the Rubies are here."
Jonghyun nods, looking at Samuel, "Emeralds?"
Jisung started to count his members one by one. He thought he was wrong but he counted again.
"Hyung?" Samuel asks, confused. "What's wrong?"
Sungwoon started to feel nervous for some reason, "Is anyone missing?"
Jisung slowly turns his head around, he was full of anxiety. "T-taehyun... Taehyun isn't here..."
