My Poem Collection

~Destiny ~

One day the sun will shine upon the debris that's our life
And we'll feel the warmth we've been deprived of
All the years spent in this cold dungeon, the cruelty we went through
It'll be alright, we just have to wait till the good days come by

The wicked winter that made our lives tragic
That threw our dreams, our passion away
Will no longer torment us once this phase ends
Once the calm summer showers its love on us

A little patience is expected, along with strong aspiration
From us, who really find the need to escape this prison
To get relieved of this pain we so long endured
To find the true heart of ourselves, like we've always wanted

We were destined to be held, in this hell of a place
Where we'd find the path we were destined to walk on
This will later lead us to another one, with peace and happiness
Where we'll live the life we desired, which we desperately waited for
