~Chanyeol splashed water on his face, shaking off the jitters of what happened downstairs a while ago, feeling completely sober now. A knock on the bathroom door made him jump and he squeaked, turning towards the door, afraid to open it.
"Chanyeol, is that you? Did you just squeak?" Sehun asked from the other said, chuckling. "Open the door babe, come on."
"It's soooo weird hearing you call me babe when you look like Sehun and I don't even know if you really are Baekhyun in that body," Chanyeol said, opening the door and letting the other in before shutting it close again.
"Hey what's wrong? I'm really sorry about the spell, I'm sure it will wear off soon, I honestly didn't know this would happen. We were just drunk idiots trying to have some fun, it's really me babe, talk to me, please." He said softly but Chanyeol was still suspicious and decided to start digging for the truth.
"If you're Baekhyun, tell me where did I take you for our first date and what did you give me?" He asked Sehun.
"Are you really doubting me Channie?" The boy looked hurt.
"Please, please do this for me and I'll explain everything." Chanyeol pleaded the other.
"Alright," Sehun sighed. "You took me to the arcade across town because we both love to play games above anything, we screamed and cursed so much that people thought we were crazy. We got so competitive in that last round of Shooters that we tackled each other's controllers, ending up falling over each other on the floor. The arcade master kicked us out and I took you to eat Galbi afterwards because you were still upset about not finishing the game. I gave you my first kiss there." By the time he had finished, he had on a nostalgic look with a faint smile on his face. Chanyeol looked at him with tears shinning at the edge of his eyes and hugged the other tightly.
"I believe you, it's really you, you're the real Baekhyun!" He pulled back looking at Sehun and smiled in relief and happiness. Just then, Sehun's face went stoic and his eyes flashed red. Chanyeol yelped backing away and watched the now creepy Sehun speak.
"Correct. You have one hour to find the pair or this soul loses this body to another." He spoke in the same monotonous voice as before at the table and just as fast, flipped back to normal with a blink of his eyes.
"What the hell!" Chanyeol exclaimed looking at B/Sehun, who was now looking at him in confusion.
"How did you get all the way there so fast and why do you look like you've seen a ghost? I just poured out my heart, do you still not believe me?" B/Sehun looked like he was about to cry.
"NO! I do, I do believe you...It's just that you changed a moment ago, your eyes were glowing red and you face went all dead, speaking in the most harrowing way ever. Do you not remember?" Chanyeol asked the boy, now certain it was Baekhyun inside, the spell having confirmed it.
"What? No, I don't know anything, what's going on? Did this happen earlier too, is that why you ran up here? Chanyeol tell me what you know about the spell, I can help!" B/Sehun offered. Chanyeol nodded and proceeded to tell him everything about at the table with the glowing eyes and uniform voice, including the weird verse the eight of them had spoken.
"I have a theory." B/Sehun said brightly after hearing Chanyeol's experience. "What if this spell is mischievous and purposely making all of us confused without even our souls knowing who is who?"
Chanyeol thought for a moment before understanding dawned on him, "Just now when your eyes glowed, you said that I was correct at guessing your soul and I had to find the pair or you'd be switched out. In this case, its Sehun we have to find! We know him enough to find the real Sehun in a bunch of confused souls, this spell isn't going to beat us, let's go!" Chanyeol said with hope.
