3rd Person POV

UN: Listen, I just think you should tell the other countries about your cultures.

Mid: I don't think I will.

UN: Why not? I'm sure they'll be understanding.

Mid: That's what I thought with dad, but he was pissed about it. I tried telling him about how America as a country would crumble if we got back together, but he refused to listen.

UN: Wait, so you're telling me that he disapproved of it? The UK? The nation made up of four, internationally recognized cultural regions + a fifth lesser known one? That UK?

Mid: Yep. That one.

UN: I might have to have a talk with him.

Mid: No don't! That will only make things more complicated! This is a family matter that you should stay out of.

UN: Well this is also a problem that's affecting my best friend and 2 of my employees. I think as your best friend I have a right to help, and as your boss I have a right to settle disagreements between employees.

Mid: Well I guess that makes sense.

As Mid and UN walked into the office building, Mid split off to join his friends while UN went to talk with Britain about the whole "not supporting your son" thing. It kinda pissed UN off. It's like if Mid came out as gay. But if that happened, Britain would be fine. It honestly made him mad thinking about it.

Soon the meeting started, and all the countries entered the room. The only two missing were Britain and UN. With these two gone, murmurs ran across the room. After 10 minutes passed and neither of them showed up, Mid panicked over what could've  happened. He noticed the rest of his family also felt uncomfortable, and he decided to leave the room to find them. But as soon as he did, he could see an angry UK speed-walking to the meeting room followed by a worried UN.
