Chapter 6: A New Friend And A Brand New Trouble

A Few Months Later

Christal's P.O.V

It was the winter season and school break had just begun. It was a usual day then I got a text from Harry.

Hey Christal come on over
at our usual meeting  place

Me
Sure be there in a jiff :)

See ya there then :)

So I decided to inform my mum before I go. "Mum I'm going to the meet my friends" I yelled looking for my coat, today I decided to go with a simple shirt and jeans with my curly hair left open. I grabbed my beanie when I heard mum shout from the kitchen "Okay come back before dinner I'll text you when dinner is ready" "Okay" I say and walk outside, the cold breeze hit my face sending goosebumps all over me.

Can't believe it's been months since Louis and I were stuck in the hospital for a night thankfully. I kept walking until I reached a place where stairs went down until you'll find a warm little cafeteria which was owned by a old lady, the lady had become our friend since we started visiting here. About a couple of weeks before.

Flash Back

After school and training with Louis, the rest of the squad had decided to join us for the afternoon. We decided to go to a near by cafeteria called "Grandma's Cafe" which sounded really cute.

"We're here" yelled Louis "Yes Tommo I have eyes and I can see" Liam says thinking he can sass him off but we all know typical Louis. "I know Liam, just I thought guiding the illiterate would be nice" said Louis and we all start yelling oooo.

We entered the cafeteria, took a seat and wait for a waiter or waitress to come and take our orders when an elderly woman comes to us in an apron "Hello kids, what would like to order" she seemed like a nice lady she seemed to be in her late 50's. We gave our orders and she quickly notes it down. "Excuse Me are you two siblings?" She asked me and Harry politely "No mam we're just friends" answered Harry for both of us. "Oh, You two look just like my grandchildren that's why I was asking" she says sadly "Where are your grandchildren mam" asked Zayn noticing how sad she looked.

"I don't know kids, I live alone just across the street my son left me and moved somewhere else without telling me, I got a mail last week from my son and there was no address on it, there was just his name, I got really excited when I opened it, it was just a big stash of cash and a photo of two kids who looked exactly like you two and behind it,it was written these are your grandchildren, with that stash of money I decided to open a little cafeteria called "Grandma's Cafe" in dedication of my grandchildren" she said sobbing through her words "Anyway I'll be back with your orders". She went away to the kitchen.

"How can anyone do that to their own mother" said Harry who had tears collecting in his eyes already. "Yeah I know" I say also wiping away a tear that had just rolled down my cheek. "I swear if I ever meet her son I'm gonna strangle him to death" said Louis  who was struggling to hold back the tears from forming in his eyes. "How can he just abandon his own mother like that" said Selena shaking her head. "Imagine waiting for the door to open and your son coming in and saying hey mum but its just the mailman" said Niall terribly regretting saying that because it made him cry. "There, There Niall that grandma wouldn't wanna see us crying would she" comforted Liam "But we can't control it" shouted Hazel,Alan and Lou at once. Now we were all crying.
