"Why in the world you ain't tell me your mama was coming?" "I'm sorry bae I just wanted it to be a surprise, I never meant to make you upset." "It's fine. I ain't mad. I just would've worn something more appropriate, you know for your mom." "Bae, you looked fine as always." I chuckled. "You know what to say."He gave me a kiss and hug and walked outside to his car. I stood at the front door waiting for him to leave and waved at him while he pulled out of the driveway. Once he left, I went back inside and locked the door behind me. I went to the couch and put on some Netflix. I picked up the phone and called my mom.
Me: Hey ma, can Niya spend the night over there?
Mom: Yes baby. You know I like spending time with my baby. Even if she driving me crazy.
Me: Okay thanks ma. Love you.
Mom: Okay baby. Love you too.
I clicked on Empire and ran to the kitchen to pop some popcorn cause it was getting good. But as soon as I put the remote down and started to get up, I heard my new single "Try Me" playing. I remembered that I had put that as my new ringtone after it dropped earlier today. I looked at my phone to see Chrissy flashing across the screen. "Ugh what is it now?" I sighed and picked up the phone.
Me: What you want now Chrissy?
Chrissy: Dang girl! You ain't gotta be all angry and all that. A girl was bored.
Me: Cause Chrissy, I'm watching Empire and it ain't gone stay on pause all night. And plus, where's Rick?
Chrissy: I know you still ain't mad about earlier. And Empire? Niya watching that too?
Me: Nah I ain't tripping. And nah she with my mama.
Chrissy: Oh okay. I gotta go anyways. Somebody calling me. We cool?
Me: Like the other side of the pillow!Bye Chrissy.
I hung up the phone and suddenly didn't want to do anything but sleep. So I turned the tv off and walked to my room. I slipped into my pajamas and turned the tv on in my room. Then I fell asleep.
