Daniella Williams POV

"Are you sure about Stacey coming here?" Alex asked again when we found nothing at the small cliff near the hotel.

"I am sure."

"I think she may not have come here. It doesn't look like anyone has come here since a while." He told me as he looked through some bushes.

"Maybe but there must be a reason for that. Stacey was a quite stubborn person. If she had decided to come here with her luggage first thing after she stepped out of the train then not even I can stop her. Let's look thoroughly, I think we are overlooking something."

"Okay." He said as he got back to work.

The cliff was beautiful, just as I had thought. The places Stacey would want to visit would definitely be beautiful. She was a really good photographer. One thing that worked in our advantage of moving from city to city was Stacey liked it since there were new places to explore and she could expand her number of photographs.

The cliff was small but one would be able to see the stars and sky clearly. The cliff was not so high but dangerous and vast. There was a Film studio down at the end of the hill.

Coming here was useless. I guess Stacey really didn't come here.

"Found something?" I was broken out of my thoughts when I heard Alex's voice.

"Don't tell me you were standing there only." He said when he saw me standing at the same spot I was standing a few moments ago.

"What were you doing? Enjoying the view? You should have told me. I would have joined you. Have you imagined how many insects were there? My god!" He scolded me. I couldn't helps but laugh at him.

"Why are you laughing woman? Look at this." He showed me his arm which had bites here and there.

"You are my sidekick. You should be doing that for your leader. Don't tell me you haven't made people under you do these kind of works." That made him shut up. He looked at me with disbelief.

"What? Am I wrong Mr. Knight?" Using his first name in front of him would give him a reason to make fun of him. There was no way in hell would I let him have the satisfaction knowing that I call him Alex in my mind.

"The rumours were definitely true. Yep! You don't acknowledge your colleagues. And I am not your sidekick. I am the best agent in the agency."

"Whatever! But you should think about now. You are under me mister. Warning was already passed to you when we first met."

"Warning?" He asked visibility confused.

"Remember the day when I came to Amber from Alfestine. We met at the conference room and you told me we both had to work together but I disagreed with you."

"How could I forget. You had told that you would work alone only. I had also began to start believing in the rumours about you being real rude."

"What did you think about me the first time you met me?" He asked me as he sat down.

"Well...when I first met you." I began as I joined him where he was sitting.

"You were obliviously good looking, tall and everything but none of that mattered. That time, I was too busy worrying about Stacey that I didn't really thought about you. But you gave that determined look that you wanted to learn about it. You were stubborn and an amaeuteur. Though you are a great help. And don't mind my frankness since you asked me the question but I absolutely didn't like you at that moment. I am not really a fan of people."
