abilities:
mana skin: creates a coating of mana that protects them. It is a basic technique that most Magic Knights have used unconsciously at one point or another. Proper training allows a mage to use it consciously and to greater effect. In the gremory family their mana skin is so powerfull it slowly disintegrates the floor the step on and weak magic.

backstory: his family is one of the nicest Royal family of the clover Kingdom they don't care about the social status in the clover kingdom but they try to be better than most family and treat every person. other families have tried to join houses with the Gremory's by putting on a good face. the Gremory family however don't like arrange marriages. there parents were just lucky enough to love each other. when he came of age to get a grimore along with his twin sister. his family arrenge the the tower would be empty in case there suspicion was correct which it came true. Like his older brother Mikoto didn't received a grimore like his father.His twin sister also didn't receive one but it didn't matter cause that way they won't showoff because of their grimore, they would showoff because they Don't have one . After that day their older brother started training them outside of the city just to be sure no accidents happens. After years of getting control of their magic Mikoto and his sister started fighting each other as a friednly competition. one day they decided it would be fun to enter to the magic knights exam even thou they could just ask for the captain of the squad they wanted to join( perks of being from a royal family).
Personality: despite being from a Royal family he cares little about being a royal. He is quite lazy and spends a lot of his time sleeping, which he does so much that he is able to fall into a deep sleep in a matter of seconds. Likewise, he is not affected from being woken up by a head slam by his sister or those who care a lot about him reacting calmly when such an incident occurs. he has been said to be the most violent-tempered of all the gremory, such a statement being more evident in his younger years thanks to being close to a certain vermillion. When Mikoto gets exited in fights when fighting sertain people cause not everyone can actually pump him up. those people are his family, Yami cause he is the only captain he actually challenged and Noel cause of a small despute the had in the past
