His dialogue had caused a sudden silence in the store. Ayesha and 'mustard girl' was giving him the 'death stare' which could shorten anyone's life by 40 years (which he presumably wasn't going to live anyways).
"Ok boomer" yelled a kid from the other corner of the store.
"Boomer?" asked Mr.Khaki pants in confusion. He realised that he had become the villain of the modern age teenagers who were aware of his 19th century mindset and despised him for it.
"What? I said what I said" saying this he left the store."What a jerk" the 'mustard girl' said adjusting her her bangs.
"I know right!" said Ayesha who was still annoyed at his statement.
"What about the leather jacket girls?" asked the sales girl with an anxious tone."Let her have it!" both of them announced at the same time. The entire store nodded in approval of the newly found friendship.
"That's fantastic which one of u want it?" asked the sales girl trying to maintain her composure and costumer friendly smile. "Remember it's a limited edition"Anisha had already started spamming Mahira with messages. Mahira felt bad for not being there for her friend when she needed her the most. She decided not to read the messages because her desperation might instigate her anger towards Ayesha for making a ratchet for a jacket.
Ultimately both of them decided to split the purchase in half and share the jacket. The jacket will remain in the store as reserved. The sales girl had sighed indicating a sense of relief. Both Ayesha and 'mustard girl' left the store all mellow and happy.
"By the way my name is Saloni and u are?" Introduced the former 'mustard girl'.
"I'm Ayesha" Ayesha replied.
"I never thought I'd share a jacket with a stranger, but hey! We are friends now" smiled Saloni. Her belladonna eyes were like Labyrinth even Greek Gods could get lost.Ayesha and Saloni chatted about Mr.Khaki pants and how shallow his mindset was while leaving the store. Their heated discussion had a light hearted breeze surrounding them. A friendly tone followed them
Mahira followed behind them while looking at her mobile. She was resenting accompanying Ayesha. Her mobile had over 40 messages from Anisha. "She must be mad at me for not showing up" thought Mahira. She was so lost in her thoughts she didn't realise Ayesha and Saloni had halted.Mahira looked up from her mobile and made an eye contact with Saloni.
"Have I seen you before?"asked Saloni with half-closed eyes.
