(A/N Sorry about the photo above. (or to the side) I couldn't find a photo with Louise in it that was clear enough so sadly, Louise isn't in the photo but she was in the previous chapter, so yeah.)
Alfie's POV:
I sat down next to the girl that I saw this morning. I thought that she was cute. What are you thinking, Alfie? You don't even know her name. As I settled down into my seat, I introduced myself to her, "Hi. My name is Alfie. Alfie Deyes." What the hell is wrong with you, Alfie? Trying to be all cool? At least she didn't think I was weird. She giggled then said, "Hi. My name is Zoe. Zoe Sugg."
"Hey! Be quiet you two." The teacher called out to us.
We both tried to hold back our laughs. The lesson felt like forever but it was finally over. My hand ached so much from all of the writing. I've only been here for an hour and they have already started torturing me. Kind of...
Zoe's POV:
I headed to the cafeteria and I saw Alfie sitting by himself eating a panini. I asked Louise,
"Hey, chummy. Should I sit next to him?"
"Yeah. Go for it. I'm fine by myself. I'l just stalk you from another table."
"You see chummy, this is why I love you. You stalk me."
I giggle and I buy a small snack to eat. I then go to over to where Alfie is sitting.
"Hey." I say to him.
"Hey." He says back.
"How are you enjoying the first quarter of your first day at school?"
"It's pretty good so far. Why do you ask?"
"No reason... Have you made any new friends?"
"I have some friends here who I used to go to primary school with but they are all in different classes. Other than that, nope. Well, unless you count."
Heh. I smirked a bit. He considered me as a friend. I looked over at Louise who was sitting at the table next to us, she was smirking at me. I gestured for her to come join us. She was reluctant but eventually came over.
"Alfie Deyes, meet my chummy, Louise. Chummy, meet Alfie Deyes."
It was kind of weird how they never talked to each other even though I was sitting next to both of them in English.
"Hi, Louise. Nice to meet you. Exactly what does chummy mean?" Alfie raised an eyebrow.
"Chummy means chummy. Let's leave it at that." I smiled at them both.
I looked down at my watch. It was 20 past 10 in other words, 10:20.
"Umm guys, break ends like RIGHT NOW!" I jumped up out of my seat and headed out of the double doors with Alfie and Louise that lead us outside. We ran to our lines and luckily, the teacher wasn't there yet. Even if we were late, we wouldn't get detention. It's our first day of school. No teacher would be THAT strict.
The next lesson flew by but sadly, I wasn't seated next to Louise. She was on a totally different table than me. I was sitting down on a table with 2 girls and 2 boys, Tanya, Niomi, Marcus and Jim. I managed to make small talk with them and it went really well. I think that we could all become good friends.
It was lunchtime! Finally, I was so hungry. I carried my tray and scanned the cafeteria to find a place to sit. I noticed Louise and Alfie sat next to each other on a table so I walked towards them and sat down in a spare seat. Tanya, Niomi, Marcus and Jim joined us. We were all talking for way too long and lunchtime was nearly over. Unfortunately they had to go do something for a teacher. The three of us went outside and all just continued talking about anything that popped into our heads.
"So Alfie, we don't really know what you like." Louise stared at him.
"Yeah, we don't know what your interests are." I glared at him the same way as Louise.
"Well, I don't know anything about you two." Alfie made the same face as both me and Louise.
"Okay then, speed round," I announced. "Alfie first."
... (A/N I don't want to have to bore you with all of the questions.)
After that, we got to know Alfie a bit more, now it was time for Alfie to get to know us. We answered the same questions that we had asked him but even faster than him since he was so slow at answering the questions. I guess that we just put him on the spot there. Oops!
Alfie's POV:
Thank god! The school day was over. I had to leave school a bit later than everyone else since I had to talk to a teacher who wouldn't stop talking to me. Eventually, I escaped. I saw Louise and Zoe just about to walk out of the school gates and I ran, trying to catch up with them. Louise said that she had to go the other way so me and Zoe were left alone. I saw Louise wink at Zoe when she left, for some reason, but that was between them, I didn't want to get involved in this girl thing.
"So Zoe, which way are you going?"
"Oh, I'm just gonna go that way." Zoe shook her head to show me which way we were going.
"I'm going that way too."
"Great." Zoe seemed eager.
We talked for a while about anything that we could think of and got to know each other a bit more.
"Well, this is my stop." We both said this at the same time.
"Hmm, looks like we're neighbours." Zoe smirked.
"I guess we are. See you around, neighbour."
"Bye." She grinned.
"Bye. Nice to meet you, Ms. Sugg." I silently said as she was walking off.
"What did you say?' She turned around and smiled at me.
"Nothing. Bye."
I walked up to my front door and frantically searched for my keys in my pocket. I unlocked the door and waved at Zoe when she wasn't looking as she was still unlocking her door. Wow, she looked beautiful. Alfie, stop, she's just your friend.
Zoe's POV:
I was staring at Alfie while he was trying to open his door (I'm not a stalker) but I quickly turned away when he looked at me. I looked down and hid my face, I was smiling so much, I couldn't stop. He just made me smile whenever I was around him.
