Spongebob walked into the Krusty Krab, a smile plastered over his face per usual.
As he walked in and put in his time card, he heard the front doors open, only to see the best coworker on the planet, Squidward Tentacles.
He stood by the time card slot, waiting for Squidward to come over so he could say hi.
Squidward walked over to the slot and put in his card, only for alarms to sound.
He let out a sigh.
Mr Krabs walked out of his office door and started yelling at him for being late for the 6th time this week.
This made Spongebob upset, for he hated hearing Mr Krabs scream, but he hated it more than normal because he was screaming at Squidward.
As Mr Krabs started going on about how good Spongebob was at being early to work, the sponge decided that he had to leave. He didn't want to make his friend more upset than he already was.
He headed back into the kitchen, striding to the closet at the back of the room.
Sighing, he flipped open the door and took out a large package of frozen Krabby Patties.
Cautiously, he walked back to the grill and started to unwrap each patty individually, putting them on the grill.
Spongebob was about to ask Squidward for the first order when he realised he was still arguing with Mr Krabs.
The yellow sponge felt sad, Squidward didn't deserve this type of treatment.
But, he knows better than to get involved with work issues, so he put on a smile and started flipping patties.
Maybe one day he would make Mr Krabs leave Squidward alone.
