"Alright." Steve whispers as he finishes putting Tony's shirt and jacket on Tony as he sits up in the gurney grogilly and in pain.

"Whe . . . we goin?" Tony rasps, looking up at Steve through half lidded and fevered eyes."I'm gonna take you to get better." Steve replies, softly and truthfully. "Oh. Tank . . . you." Tony says as Steve carefully picks little Tony up and cradles his small frame to himself. "Always." Emediately, Tony latches on, (weakly) wrapping his arms around Steve's neck and his legs around Steve's torso, resting his head on Steve's shoulder with a sigh of exhaustion and contentment as he cluches his Rogers rabbit in his little hands.

"Okay. Nat?" Nat turns to Fury. "I want you to accompany Rogers and Tony, discreetly and secretively. Do not be seen." He orders. "Are you sure sir?" She asks, worried it could compromise the whole mission. "Yes. I want them to have some back up just in case Hammer breaks the deal." She nods her head in understanding and looks to Steve to see if he's ready.

Steve is wearing a blue, plaid button up shirt, a brown, leather, balmer jacket with blue jeans and his sneakers, along with his shield, placed on back. (No need for the spangly uniform). "Ready?" Steve looks to his right shoulder at little Tony as he gently rubs his hand up and down his back. "Yeah."

Hangar - Wilson St.
6:27pm

Steve pulls up in his car, with Tony in the back middle seat, buckled securely in his car seat.

The area is deserted except for a busy streets and some buildings on the other side of a few nearby, abandoned buildings. The sun is barely set, still shining bright in the sky. It's about 68° out with just a little breeze, if any. Its very nice out and peaceful, but actually . . . . It's not. Steve prays to God this goes well. He has to save Tony.

He gets out of the car and carefully retrieves Tony from his car seat. Again, Tony instinctively whrapps his arms around Steve's neck and his legs around his waist, as he holds tight to his Rogers rabbit. Steve holds him close and makes his way inside the hangar. He's pretty nervous, but knowing Natasha is close by, helps a little.

He enters the Hangar and walks slowly and cautiously to the middle of the building. "Hello?" Steve calls out, not seeing any sign of someone there. Tony let's out a small groan. "Shh, It's okay." Steve comforts and rubs his back to assure him.

"Well, I never thought I'd meet the great American hero." Steve looks ahead and sees the figure of Justin Hammer appear from the shadows on the other side of the building. Steve tenses and his hold on Tony tightens. Steve doesn't venture any further into the empty hangar, letting Hammer make the first approach.

Hammer walks over, fallowed by to men, (seemingly agents of his) and stops about 15 feet away, his men stopping beside him, as he chews on a Lolly pop stick. "That's him, hah?" Steve gives a short nod, ready to take these guys out if anything happens. Tony coughs a bit, causing him to whimper. Steve puts a gentle hand on the back of little Tony's head. "It's okay." He whispers, not taking his eyes off of Hammer.

"Le'me see em." Hammer requests, lightly, in his charismatic and arrogant voice. Steve swallows and just stares daggers at hammer. What!? I'm not letting you touch him, you bastard. "Come oooon. I'm not gonna hurt the brat." Anger boils up in Steve at hammer calling his kid a brat. He's the sweetest, kindest, and most polite child he's ever met. I'm not gonna hand over my kid to a guy who calls him a brat.

"That wasn't part of the deal." Steve states, firmly. "Maybe not, but who has the upper hand here, cap?" Steve sighs, defeated and angry. "Tony." Steve whisper, gently pulling Tony from his torso. "Mmmmm." Tony replies, grogilly and pries his eyes open. "It's alright, he just wants to take a look at you." Steve says, softly and walks over to hammer and gently sets Tony on the ground.

Hammer waves him off a little with his hand, till Steve steps back about 6 feet away from Tony.

Hammer takes out his Lolly pop stick and tosses it to the ground. He stares down at Tony for a minute, almost like a bug before he steps on it. He then kneels down in front of Tony and looks at him straight in the face, curiously and with a hint of pride and happiness that he did this to his nemesis l, Tony Stark.

Tony can barely stand, being so sick and exhausted. He breaths laboriously and looks at Hammer through dizzy and half lidded eyes. He coughs before falling/sitting on the ground. Steve instinctively takes a step towards Tony to help and comfort him, but is stopped when Hammer holds up his hand.

"Capin?" Tony calls out, wondering why his guardian isn't helping him. He also wonders who this Man is and doesn't think he really likes this man.

Before Steve can reply to comfort him, Hammer speaks. "Kid. Do you know who I am?" Tony coughs and looks at him with furrowed eyebrows, trying to figure out who this man is and what's going on. Tony slowly shakes his head. "No." He answers, simply. "You know . . . . you screwed me over when you were an adult." "Hammer." Steve warns, quietly. "I'm sowy." Little Tony replies softly and shyly. "Wow. I never thought you'd say that to me. Though it doesn't really mean anything now, I mean . . . You don't remember."

Hammer stands up with a sigh. "Capin." Tony rasps, pleading for his Guardian to come back. Without hesitation, Steve walks over to tony, (A bit cautiously) and gently picks Tony up. Hammer doesn't stop him. Tony latches onto Steve and tucks his head into the crook of Steve's neck. "I got'ya." Steve comforts, rubbing his hand, up and down Tony's back, and takes a few steps back.

"His cure." Steve says, irritatedly, reminding hammer why they're there. "Ah, yes." Hammer gestures for one of his men to hand over a syringe of the cure over to Steve. Steve happily accepts the syringe, praying that it will save Tony. Steve stares at hammer in the eye as he kneels down and gently sets Tony down in front of him.

"It'll work." Hammer states with conviction. Well, I've gotta try something.

Steve prepairs the syringe before getting Tony's attention. "Okay tones." "Mmm." Tony replies, his eyes barely open and his head hanging down. Steves heart skips a beat. He knows Tony isn't going to last much longer. "Alright. I'm gonna give you you're medicine, okay? It'll make you better." Tony doesn't really reply, too out of it.

Steve gently and carefully sticks the needle into Tony's arm and inject the fluid into his system. Tony let's out a small whimper from the puncture. "I'm sorry. It's alright." Steve whispers, running a hand through Tony's hair. When he empties the whole syringe, he gently pulls it out and checks Tony's pulse. It's seems to be getting stronger.

"Tony?" Tony blinks, and his breathing becomes more steady. "How are you feeling?" Steve asks, hoping this will work. "Better." He says, more perked up and alert. Steves nod his head as his lips curl into a small grin. "Yeah?" Tony nods his head.
