"Girl, when were you EVER gonna tell me you were talking to a freaking NBA player?" I said to my best friend, Christal.
"I wanted to wait until you got here girl."
When I tell you I was so shocked that she was dating an NBA player. I may not know much about basketball but sis did not fumble the bag on that one. Christal then handed me an outfit.
"What is this for?" I said while taking it.
"Girl, me and you are going to a game." She said.
"A game?" I said confused. I have never ever been to a professional game before. But seeing how I'm in a new state with new people, I was ready to try new things.
"Yes, a game girl. Now go get ready. We leave in an hour." Christal said while going back into her room.
I put on my black crop top with jeans and heels. I wore my curly hair down because I didn't feel like doing it.

"You look so fine, you might get you a NBA player tonight." Christal said while grabbing her bags.
"You look good too. Trying to show off for your man, I see." I said while laughing.

We pulled up to the game. And let me tell you this, whoever Christal's boyfriend is, is the goat because he got us floor tickets. We sat at our seats and Christal kept hitting my shoulder.
"Sis, what do you want?" I said.
"Girl, I know you see him staring at you" Christal said while pointing.
"Who? And stop pointing bitch, he'll know we're talking about him." I said.
When I looked I saw the finest man ever. Those tattoos and those eyes. He was so tall and handsome. I wanted to thank his parents for creating him. I mean look at him.

He started walking towards the sideline where we were sitting. I was so nervous, I could feel my heart beating out of my chest. I was preparing for him to talk to me. When I tell you I was clearing my throat and everything, I was READY.
"Hey mom." He said to the lady sitting behind me.
They started to have a conversation and I felt a little embarrassed that I actually thought a fine ass NBA player was actually going to talk me. I was way in over my head.
"Okay, so maybe he wasn't looking at you." Christal said while laughing.
"Ya think" I said while rolling my eyes.
The game started. And Christal said, "Look there goes my man. His name is Mikal." He was tall and I mean TALL. He wasn't be bad looking either. I was so proud of her. She did a great job.

I was finally able to put a name to the face. Kelly Oubre.
The game had finally ended and the Suns had beat the hornets, 109-104. It was close game but I enjoyed every second of it. Kelly put on a show and I loved it.
Christal ended up talking to Mikal for the longest time. Then she came up to me and said, "Mikal wants to go to a party, you wanna come?" I nodded my head yes.
I was secretly hoping Kelly would be there.
AN: I hope the first chapter was good. I don't know if I should slow things down or not. LOL. I thought it would be funny that she thought Kelly was paying attention to her but he wasn't. That happens to me allll the time. 😔
