The Case of the Accidents at the Wrestling Ring

When mysterious accidents start occuring at the wrestling ring where Johnny works Sistina becomes concerned. on top of these accidents that have been happening, Johnny has been receving mysterious letters that warn that his carrer is at an end. Johnny refuses to take these letters seriouly. Sistina however, is deeply concerned and seeks Catherina's help in discvoering who is behind these letters and accidnets. Can Catherina discover who is behind these attacks and why before it is too late?

It had been a slow week again in fact it had been a slow month. I had hoped that I would have a steady flow of customers but I guess I was to be one of those unknown private eyes. Since it was such a slow week I decided to close early after all if someone hadn't come in by now most likely no one would. I had just gotten my coat and hat and was about to leave when phone rang. I sighed and wrestled with myself as to what to do about the phone. I could just ignore it after all it was only a half an hour until actual closing time and I was tired and besides it was probably just another small time job like finding someone's lost kitten. Still, my advertisement did say that I solved any case no matter how big or small and it was not quite closing time. "Detective Mackleene's office no case is too small how may I be of service?

How are you doing Sistina? How was your wedding?

It was remarkable. I'm sorry that I could not get you a ticket but the event was sold out even before we started advertising for it. It took place during one of the biggest wrestling events of all time the world champion match. If I recall the ceremony went something like this, Ladies and gentlemen here is a pair unlike any seen in heaven or here on Earth their love rivals that of Romeo and Juliet, a love so forbidden I dare not give it utterance. The angel of love wings has been clipped. He has sworn his love to no other than the Demon of Jealousy the devil with the red dress on. Unfortunately this is not a social call "I'm sorry to bother you Catherine. I am sure you are loaded down with tons of cases but I am once again in desperate need of your help.

There have been several accidents at the ring lately and I am worried that someone is deliberately trying to hurt Johnny. I have heard rumors that Tino Robbinso has ordered several wrestlers to take dives and when they refused they wound up in the hospital. I know that Mr. Robbinso and Johnny have not been Seeing Eye to eye lately& Johnny refuses to wrestle in fixed matches. Johnny has also been receiving letters saying that his career is over; each letter comes with a black rose. Recently a close friend of ours wound up in the hospital with major injuries and according to the doctors he may never wrestle again. Soon after this announcement Johnny received a letter stating that he was going to be next along with this letter a bouquet of black roses was sent. If this was not stressful enough I have recently received a letter from the state saying that Al Capone Jr.'s A.K.A .Jimmy's conviction to AlcatrazIsland has been overturned and he has been released on parole for good behavior. According to authorities he was last seen heading into town. When I told Johnny of my concern about his dealings with Mr. Robbinso he just laughed and said that the rumors that Mr. Robbinso would send his wrestlers to the hospital for not taking dives was ridiculous. As for the letters he thinks that they are some ones idea of a joke. I am really worried about him. I am also worried about Jimmy's release from jail. Do you think that he could be behind these accidents at the ring?
