Chapter 1

Run from him

Breathing heavily, running down the alleyway, "GET BACK HERE YOU NERD!!!" the blondish hair boy said. The end of the alleyway No!! "Haha!! You're stuck!! What are you going to do now? Defendless Izuku!! Haha!" He ran his mouth. I look around seeing what I can do. "Leave me alone Kacchan!!" I yell out scared of my life. "Not until you show me that borrowed power of yours!!" He smirks. I need to get out of here!! I thought to myself as I climbed the fence gate behind me and Kacchan quickly grabs my ankle tightly. "You're not going anywhere!!" He snapped at me. I try to get free but fall.

    I thought I had died at that point and started to cry, "L-Leave me alone!!" I yell crying out to him. "Oh you're a crybaby now? Hahaha" He laughed, "You're so useless Deku!!" He pulls me down putting both arms beside my head. "Show me NOW Deku!!!" He yelled in my face with a big smirk on his face. "Bakugou...." I hear a familiar voice, "Let him go.."
"Why should I Icy-Hot!?"
It was Todoroki! Thank god he is here, I don't know what I've done without him here, "Stop being a dumbass.. And let him go." Todoroki demanded. Bakugou turned to him. "What did you say Half n' Half!!!" Bakugou yelled. "Are you deaf? I said-" Todoroki got interrupted by Bakugou's blabbermouth. "I am not deaf!!! You dumbass!!"
"Prove it Bakugou, What did I say earlier?"
"I don't know!! Or even care!!!"

    As they argued, I climbed the fence and ran as fast as I could to get out of there. I kept running and running until behind me I saw Todoroki running after me, "Midoriya! Wait up.." He said in a loud voice and I stopped running, still breathing very hard, "Where's Kacchan?" I questioned him, "Oh I kinda froze him.." Todoroki exclaimed. I put my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "You ok?" Todoroki asked me. "Y-Yeah, I'm just tired from all of the running." I scratch my head.

Todoroki looked at me and sighs, "You should be more careful..." He told me, "Next time he does this... send me your location like that time-" I interrupt, "Shh! We are not allowed to talk about that!!" Todoroki remembered what happened. I could see it, "Oh yeah... sorry.." Todoroki apologizes, "You're fine!" I wave my hands.

Hours past and the sun goes from a bright shining yellow to a pink, orange, red sunset. I walk down the grayish sidewalk and look up at the blueish sky turning to a dark color. I start to see less and less people walking around. I arrive at my mother's apartment and open the greenish door. "I'm home!" I halfly yell, "Welcome back!" My mother smiles at me, "I made your favorite! Katsudon!" I smile, "Thank you mom!" I say excitedly as I walk down to my room and open the door to all of the attention on me. All Might smiling big and the blue cape flowing in the wind, but of course it's just my imagination.

I sit in my grayish blue chair at my wooden desk and grab my book Hero Analysis For The Future and look through it and look at the page of All Mights signature on the white lined paper in black ink. I could remember all of the things he has taught me and how amazing he was. But the Symbol of Peace is retired. I always question what will happen if the villains attack again. "It's your turn" I remember him saying. But I still can't fully understand my power. What do I do?

I get out my school books and study until my mother calls me for dinner. It was quite hard to concentrate when you can't stop thinking about your past. I spin around in my chair and end up thinking about Todoroki. "It's your quirk!! It's your quirk not his!!" I remember the look on his face.

The look of sadness faded away and the look of confidence burst into his face as he cried tears of joy. "His face was so cute.." I accidentally say out loud, "What did I just say!!" I say starting to feel the burning sensation on my cheeks. My mom comes into my room, "You ok? And the food is done!" "I-I'm fine!!" I smile and jump up and run into the kitchen. "Food!!" I say excitedly. As I hear a knock at the door and I walk to the door and open it. Standing in front of me is a 7'3" man with yellow hair staring at me. "A-All Might!?!" I yell out. "Hello Young Midoriya" He says in a calming voice.

"What are you doing here!?" I kinda scream, "I'm here to talk to your mother." He says looking at my mother and her looking back. This isn't the first time he has been over just to "talk to my mother" trust me. "Ok, whatever." I say and go eat my Katsudon.

After eating, I run into my room and see the All Might figures staring at me again, I smile a bit. I sit at my desk again and started to try to study but I couldn't stop thinking about how Todoroki saved me. I smile and continue to study and hear another knock at the door. "Mom can you get it!!" I yell and no answer and get up going to the door and open it. I see a red and white haired boy standing there. I was surprised and needed to say something before he thought I was weird, "H-Hey!" I stutter, "Hey ummm.. Can we talk?" Todoroki asked and I nod.

We sat in the living room, the greenish couch that me and him sat on. He looked down as I saw some bruises on his neck. "T-Todoroki! Where did those bruises come from?" I say very concerned. He looks down at me, "I don't wanna talk about it.... But do you mind if I stay here for a couple of nights?" He asks me as he looks at his arms. I was really worried about him! Who wouldn't say yes! "Y-Yeah! You can stay over" I could feel the pain on my cheeks as they turn a rose red. I could see his cheeks turned a bit of rosy red. "Follow me" I say with a smile as I get up and walk to my room seeing him follow with the corner of my eye.

We walked into my room and I forgot about the All Might figurine, as they stared at us with a white shining smile. Todoroki's eyes widen, "Jeez you are All Might's secret love child." "No I'm not!!!" I say, yelling a bit, "Sorry!" I apologize, "It's fine! I promise.." Todoroki smiles at me. I was surprised he smiled at me!!! OMG HE SMILED!! "You should smile more!" I say to him, "I'll try." He agreed with me. I went over to my desk and forgot I was studying because I was focused on Todoroki. He walked over to me and saw my Hero Analysis For The Future book. "What's that for?" He questions me. I pick it up, "Oh it's uhhh..." I need something!!! What is it!! AHHHHHHH!!, "It's my book for.......school" I say as an excuse. "But it says-" Todoroki tried to say before I interrupted him, "School!!!" I put the book under my pillow.

Hours later, I was getting super tired and tried to hold in my yawn but failed and yawned as I rubbed my eyes that are now watery. "Are you tired?" Todoroki asked as he looked at me. "J-Just a bit.." I say trying not to fall asleep right then and there. He stands up and puts the book from my school books down and picks me up. I blush brighter than Kirishima's red hair dye and I cover my face. I could see him smiling at me as he put me on my bed. "Broccoli is tired, so Broccoli goes to sleep" he says to me as I start to feel the burn on my cheeks get worse. "O-Ok" I say back and come up with something to get him back. "But if Candy Cane is tired, Candy Cane goes to sleep." I say to him as I see his cheeks start to grow a reddish color.

I start to doze off into Todorki's eyes but I stop myself. "Someone needs sleep..." Todoroki tells me, "But why won't you sleep?" I smile, "Because" I pause, "I don't wanna stop looking at the most beautiful Candy Cane!" I see his face becomes red. "I don't wanna stop looking at a cute Broccoli" Todoroki gets me back as my cheeks start to sting. I yawn again, getting more sleepy. "Get some rest, you'll see me in the morning." Todoroki tells me. "O-Ok... Night Candy Cane!" I lay there, "Good night Broccoli.." Todoroki says to me. I doze off to sleep knowing tomorrow is another day of seeing someone I have been crushing on for a while now.
