Chapter 2

The Protective Candy Cane

I woke up feeling warm and cozy and didn't move. I was usually cold so I didn't mind it. I look down, seeing arms around me and realize that Todoroki is sleeping with me!! I blushed so much that my face was numb. I thought nothing could ruin the silence but then I heard a bang at my door and Todoroki woke up looking at the door, "Who's there?" he said calmly. "OPEN THE DOOR DAMN NERD!!!" I heard Kacchan yell and I got scared. Todoroki gets up opening the door, "What do you want with Midoriya..?" Todoroki asked him, "Move it Icy-Hot!!!" Kacchan slightly yells. "Tell me or get frozen...." Todoroki demanded, "MOVE ICY-HOT!!" Kacchan yells, "No..."
"YES!!"
"No.."
"YES"
"No.."
     I already had enough. "BE QUIET!!!" I yelled at them. Everything went silent and everyone was standing there for a few minutes and then Todoroki froze Kacchan. "LET ME GO!!!" Kacchan screamed. "No..." Todoroki replied calmly. "ICY-HOT THIS IS NOT FUNNY!!!" Kacchan yelled. "L-Let him go Sho-kun.." I studded. "Ok Midoriya" He unfreezes Kacchan, Kacchan freezing tackling Todoroki, "DON'T DO THAT AGAIN HALF N' HALF!!!" Kacchan yelled at him. "Whatever..." Todoroki said looking away from Kacchan's face. "Can you get off me now...?" Todoroki asked. Kacchan gets off turning away from us. "Deku.." he said in his not so friendly tone. "Y-Yes kacchan!!" I said very scared and shaky. "How many times do I have to tell you....?" Kacchan looks at me, "Why haven't you killed yourself yet!!" Kacchan said devilish. "Because—" I stop myself before I got blown to smithereens. He huffs and puffs, "TELL ME DAMN IT!!!"
"I-I"
"I SWEAR DEKU!!!"
He runs at me and I flinch, closing my eyes and putting my arm up protecting my head. But I didn't feel anyone trying to attack me. "Stop Bakugou...." I hear Todoroki say. I open my eyes and see Todoroki struggle to push Bakugou back away from me. "Stop this now!!!" I see All Might at the door. Kacchan stopped still frustrated with me, "What the hell do you want..?" Kacchan said looking down at the floor. "I need you to calm down" All Might told him and took him out of the room. Something seemed really off here, What was it? What is it? What was Kacchan here to do? Why is he being more harsh on me then usually? Not knowing I was mumbling, Todoroki put his hand on my shoulder, so cold. I look up at him and he looks down at me. "You ok..?" Todoroki asked, "Y-Yeah! Just fine!" I lied to him.

I didn't want him to worry too much... I can't see him look sad in that way. "You sure?" Todoroki asked me again. I paused and started thinking again "Should I tell him? Why is he so worried? I'm I that revealing?" Not knowing I was mumbling again, "Yes you should tell me, I'm worried because you are special to me..., and no not really.." Todoroki answered the questions, I mumbled, "I-I" I paused, "I'm just... A bit scared... That's all.." I say telling the truth this time. "I promise you'll be ok.." Todoroki tells me.

I look at him and feel my cheeks sting a bit and turn away. He puts his cold hand on my chin and pulls it towards him. "Is someone blushing?" Todoroki asks me, "N-No!!" I lie to him. My heart feels like love is craving deeper and I try to keep it in but fail and jump on Todoroki hugging him. I could see him smile as he held me there. "Awwww, Someone wants hugs from me" He hugs me back. "So warm...." I mumble. He sat me on the blue, blanketed bed. I sat there confused but I never expected this to come next. He picks me up, bridesmaids style, holding me close. Why is he so warm..? Why is he so comfy..? And Why am I so sleepy...? I yawn after I accidentally mumbled those questions. I could see him smile as I fell to sleep.

I was asleep for a while then I could hear yelling from the kitchen and woke up. I rub my watery green eyes and look around. I didn't see Todoroki anywhere, I was pretty scared. I decided to get up, so I moved the blueish covers off of my kinda pale body and got onto the wooden covered floor and looked around my All Might covered room. I walk to my door opening the door quietly and peer out the door. I see Todoroki yelling at someone but can't see who, I corrupt down the hallway very slowly and quietly. I see Todoroki arguing with Kacchan.
"YOU ARE CUTE TODOROKI!!!"
"No you are.."
"NO YOU!!!"
The spamming back and forth, but then they saw me and ran after me. I ran as fast as possible and I tripped and fell. My feet hurting like they were on fire made me fall.
"You can't run like that!!" Todoroki worries
"Come on Deku! You just got out of the hospital!" Kacchan told me.

Hospital? What do they mean by I just got out of the hospital. "What happened?" I mumbled.
"He doesn't remember?" Todoroki questions.
"You were trying to save a small child but hurt yourself in the process!" Kacchan explained, "The building was burning very fast and we tried to stop you but you went on with it! You grabbed the child and came out! Your legs were on fire and were burnt like a crisp!"

Is this a dream? Did that really happen? What was I doing?  "One more question" I pause "Are y'all dating or something? I mean it wouldn't make sense if you called each other cute and fight over it! I mean if your friends fight over saying that someone is cute when you are a friend?" I keep  murmuring on and on until, "Stop!!!!" I hear Kacchan yell and I shut my mouth. I hear Todoroki sigh, "Midoriya..." Todoroki started, "You don't remember anything?" He questioned me. "All I remember is going to sleep.... after an argument with Kacchan..." I say.

"Midoriya... All three of us are dating." Todoroki told me. I was in shock and I couldn't speak and I looked at both of them, "W-W-What?" I stutter. We all paused for a second and Kacchan and Todoroki pulled me in for a hug and my face felt like it was on fire. I couldn't tell if it was me blushing or there hot, skin making me feel this way. "Hey Bakugou, Midoriya won this round" Todoroki told him, "But he always wins!!" Kacchan exclaims. I look at both of them, Candy Cane hair and Ramen hair. Something felt out of place, like I was trapped kinda. I start to mumble out loud not knowing it, "What is wrong here?Why am I here? What happened when I saved a kid?" I get interrupted by Kacchan yelling, "Stop!!!!" and I snap out of it.
"Don't yell Bakugou!"
"Never!"
"Don't make me call you it!!"
"You wouldn't dare!!"
"Here it comes!!!"
"NO!"
"KACCHAN!!"
"HALF N' HALF!!! I'LL KILL YOU!!"
"You wouldn't kill someone you love Bakugou"
"Yeah you right, NOT!!"
Kacchan tackles Todoroki and he cuddles Todoroki, "You wouldn't kill someone you love Kacchan" I say to him as he turns to me, "You better run!" Kacchan told me as he started to count down from 5. "5!" I get up and try to run but fall, "4!" I get up again as my legs are in pain I try to keep running, "2!!!" I tripped and fell and realized, "1!!" He ran up behind me and picked me up, hugging me tightly. "Let me go!" I laugh, "Never!!"

     All of a sudden, I open my eyes again sitting up breathing heavily. I look around. Todoroki looks at me, "You ok Midoriya?" I couldn't talk, my words started to stumble and wobble. "I-I eh... U-Uhh..." is all that came out. I could feel cold and hot arms around me. "Calm down, Midoriya" Todoroki softly said. I sigh and breathe in and out. I didn't wanna tell him what my dream was about so I didn't. "Just a weird dream I had!" I chuckled. I see him slightly smile and still hugging me. I was unexpected what was going to happen next.

        I hear a  knock at my door, "Deku.. can you talk?" I heard a soft voice but couldn't figure out who it was. "Yeah, Sure, come in" but I never thought it would be— the door opens.  My eyes widen to see someone crying, the clear tears rolling down his face, his blondish shiny hair.

    "K-Kacchan?" I Stuttered and now worried. He didn't say anything, other than wipe his tears. "I need to talk to you alone....." He sniffled and I turned to Todoroki. He nods and leaves the room and closes the door. It was quiet, to quiet, "S-So what did you want to talk to me about—" before I could Finnish my sentence I could feel his warm arms around me and I hesitated. Scared of my life I wrap my scared shaky arms around Kacchan. "Deku...." he started, I closed my eyes knowing this has to be a dare, prank, or a joke. But I was wrong,

"May I sit...?" As he stopped hugging me. "Y-Yeah.." I shuddered in fear of my life. He sat on my bed and put his elbows on his knees and his hand on his face. "So... what do you need heh.." I started to sweat, "Deku.... I'm here to tell you something..." Kacchan told me. He looked at me with his sad and dole face. I start to feel the panic rush through me, "O-Ok.." I panic. "I want you to know that- " He paused, "that...." he looks down, I could tell something was bothering him. "K-Kacchan.... are you ok...?" I asked in worry. He look over at me and was about to say something but he didn't and looked the opposite way.

I put my hand up and touch his shoulder but he shrugged it off. "K-Kacchan please.... is s-something bothering you...?" I ask in Curiosity. "This is something I would never ask in my life, especially to you. But can I stay here.... for a few days... me and my mom got into a big fight and no! I don't wanna talk about it!" I froze as he said that. 'Me? Why not Kirishima or Denki?' I thought. "Y-Yeah that's fine! Todoroki is staying here too."
"Why is he staying?" Kacchan asked
"He didn't say so I didn't ask.." I answered.
He sighs and goes to open the door. I look down at my legs and think about how this will happen. I feel a hot hand on my shoulder which broke me from it. "Deku... Are you ok..?" Kacchan asked me and I paused, "I'm ok.." I tell him a lie still thinking about that dream I had.
