"What're you doing here?"
"Josie invited me and I think we need to talk the three of us when this thing is over."
"O-okay."
I walk to the table and sit down and Penelope sits across from me.
"I miss the four of us sitting at a table. Remember in High school where Hope had set off a fire alarm with someone's glasses. Everyone was so confused." Landon started and everyone laughed.
"Oh yeah. You got in trouble but I snuck you out to the soccer game anyway." Penelope says and I look up at her. Josie puts her hand on my shoulder and the other on my leg. Right Penelope thinks we're dating. I wonder how Mg and Landon would react to that.
"That was a low point of my life I'll admit."
I glance at Penelope to see her hide a hurt face. Mg gets up and opens his bag and sets five different bottles of liquor on the table.
"Well damn Mg." Landon says in astonishment.
"I'm getting flashbacks to sophomore year."
I say laughing.
"You saying you don't want some?" Mg opens it and pours a cup.
"I didn't say that." I took the cup and he passed some out till Josie starts talking.
"So Penelope.. you were friends with Hope when you were in high school." I start nervously bouncing my leg.
"It was something along those lines. She kept telling me she was straight but she caved the next year."
Josie hummed then took a sip out of my cup. I really didnt like where the conversation was heading.
"She was pretty hard headed back then." Penelope adds.
Josie mumbles under her breath "I gave her head." I choke on my drink and cough as Josie rubs my back.
"You good?" Landon asks.
"Yeah I'm fine I was just thinking. It's private."
"Okay. Let's go play some games on your playstation." Mg and Landon get up and drag me over to the couch and i turn the console on and toss them some remotes they sit on the floor and I sit on the couch. Landon puts in a game and it's Call of Duty.
"Be prepared to get your ass handed to you Landon Kirby." I say with a smile.
"Okay Hopey."
"Still hate that name by the way."
"The games on shush." Mg says and we stop bantering. Josie and Penelope come over and sit on either side of me. Josie plays with my hair and Penelope just glances at us. We start the game and immediately I keep shooting Landon. I laugh uncontrollably, forgetting that Penelope is right there, Landon is getting so angry. Then I beat his butt.
"You cheated!"
"Did not! I'm just better than you at this."
"You're such a bitch."
"I know." I smile and tap him on the head with my foot to distract him.
"Stop." I continue "Stop!"
"No."
He huffs and scooches away.
I huff back and cross my arms and raise my eyebrow.
"Way to ruin all of my fun."
"I need a drink." Mg says getting up.
"Can you bring me one too?" I ask
"Yeah."
He comes back over quickly and hands the glass to me and I down it quickly and get up and grab the bottles and bring them over to the table and fill my glass and offer some to Josie who takes a sip then hands it back.
