'He's actually gone...'

This thought played repeatedly in the head of the CEO of Freddyland as his sneakers quietly thumped against the flooring of the Employee's building.

As much as Bryan really didn't want to think back to the events that just transpired just yesterday, that thought never left his mind, nor the scene of Lefty falling into the pit of Lava and shoving Molten to the side, sending the animatronic stumbling. The vision of Lefty's fur and suit burning and the smell made Bryan shutter, knowing that it will forever be burned into his memory.

Anyone who knew Lefty knew that when he was in the room, He brightened it, even when no one took notice of it and that struck Bryan to the core. Thinking of that made Bryan remember a quote he always remembered his mother telling him 'Appreciate what you have before it becomes what you had.' She always told him. Back then he always shrugged it off, but now it weighed on him full force. He never really appreciated having Lefty's constant happy glow, until that glow got devoured by the darkness with no smiling angel to protect its fragile state. Now that he thought about it more, Bryan regretted not spending more quality one on one time with Lefty, or listening to him about Molten.

Bryan wiped away some tears that were gathering in his eyes as he started to turn around the corner towards his office.

Bryan was grateful to see all of his animatronics, well... most of his animatronics, safe and sound within the park thanks to Helpy and Rockstar Freddy's quick thinking and expert planning with their memories saved to the cloud. He hated having to see the broken faces of his animatronics when he made the announcement of Lefty's death.

However, the worst of it was Molten Freddy and Rockstar Freddy, no matter how much the two acted like they didn't like Lefty or barely tolerated his presence, everyone knew that both bears had a soft spot for the small black bear. Bryan thinks maybe more than just a soft spot. Bryan watched as Molten nearly shut himself down had it not been for Freddy taking him aside and seemingly comforting him. Molten looked like his life was just taken out right from under him, and Freddy was not far behind but was trying to keep a straight face, while Molten seemed to loose all cares about someone seeing how defeated he looked. As much as Bryan didn't want to admit it, had Bryan lost someone as close as Lefty and Molten were to each other, he would feel the same.

Bryan shook his head softly with a groan and dismissed the thoughts to linger over later as he finally reached the doors of his office. He pulled the keys out of his hoodie pocket and slipped them into the lock, and turned them to the left. He smiled softly hearing the small click of the lock opening and he turned the knob and pushed the door open while he slipped the keys back into his pocket, sighing when he saw Helpy's "decorations".

"All that time decorating for nothing." Bryan sighed, stepping into his office and closing the door behind him.

However, something caught his eye as he turned to face his desk. A present was sitting nicely on his desk, it seemed to be medium in size, white with a red stripe seemingly about 2-3 inches on each side, and tied into a bow at the top, masterfully. The box stumped him, It wasn't his birthday so it made little sense that a gift box would be from any of his friends or animatronics.

He made his way over to his desk, going around to the opposite side, placing his hoodie on the chair, and then turned to the present on his desk. That's when he noticed the tag on the gift, he grabbed it and looked at what was written. The font looked so... familiar.

'~To Bryan; See you soon.' It read simply. Well, that was no help...

Grasping the gift box's lid, he carefully slid it off, half expecting a bunch of fake snakes to jump out at him for a surprise, but to his relief, nothing jumped out and scared him. He looked inside the box to find what seemed to be a plush toy.

Bryan reached inside the box, pulling out the plush, the plush was of an animatronic that Bryan didn't recognize, was it an older model of Security Puppet? The plush's body was almost all black, aside from two stripes on both arms and legs, and its face, the face of the plush was white like the stripes with black eyes and a black mouth, red cheeks, a small line of red lipstick above and below its grinning mouth, and purple lines under its eyes almost as if it was crying purple. He'd never seen this animatronic before which confused the CEO.

Bryan jumped when he saw something out of the corner of his eye, It moved far to fast for him to see, and unconsciously he clutched the plush close. He looked around his room in a panic, before getting the sudden urge to look back in the present box, so he did.

Inside the box was one final thing, A picture. He carefully plucked the picture out of the bottom of the box and took a look at it. The picture was of Lefty and a little girl. Lefty looked brand new in the picture, both eyes scrunched up in glee, his top hat, bowtie, and star were shiny against his inky black fur. The little girl was embracing the bear, one foot lifted behind her, she was smiling, eyes shut as she gripped onto the bear's fur. Bryan noticed that the girl was wearing an onesie that looked like it was inspired by Lefty himself, it seemed to be homemade as far as Bryan could tell. She also had inky black straight hair that spilled out of the hood in a frizzy mess. Turning the picture around, Bryan took note of writing on the back, obviously written by someone older than the girl in the photo, Bryan assumed it was one of her parents.

This is Lefty! My daddy made him for me, just for me! He's my best friend and my daddy calls him my protector! Ella, Stanley, and Theodore really like him too! No one could ever replace him!

Well... In the end, she certainly wasn't wrong.
