Elizabeth pov

The sun's filtered rays managed to pull me into consciousness. I stretched languidly in bed, feeling my muscles ache, but in a good way.

My eyes fluterred open, adjusting to the light of day. They drifted to the Goddess sleeping next to me.

I bit my lip at the exquisite sight of Rina's body. How could one human being be so perfectly sexy? I felt a twinge of pride at having been the one to get her to fall in love.

I pepperred tiny kisses on her face. This was definitely something that I wish to wake up to every single day.

"Rina, wake up na. We still have work," I said, shaking her awake.

She moaned, "five more minutes."

I chuckled, "Love, come on. So we'll have time to chat and have breakfast pa."

She released a heavy sigh, and those enchanting hazel eyes of hers blinked open. She looked at me tenderly, almost like I were the most precious thing in the world. And I just about melted.

"Morning breath," I told her.

She rolled her eyes and pushed me back on the bed, kissing me senseless.

I got up from the bed with shaky legs. Damn, she really fucked me good yesterday.

She huffed, "fine."

I went inside the bathroom to take a shower when Rina followed me inside.

"Let's take bath together. I'm not gonna do anything. Promise," she put a hand on her chest.

Oh, but that look on her face spelled trouble.

"Okay," i replied, turing on the warm water.

The water soothed my aching muscles. The two of us soaped each other's bodies, marveling at the feel of our wet sleaked skin.

I thought about it, and i didn't mind, "okay."

She beamed, and my heart did a little flip at the sight.

"We don't have to make a show out of it. We just won't deny if anyone asks," i told her.

Rina looked excited, "I'm just glad that everyone can finally know that you're mine.

I squeezed her hand affectionately, "same."

We arrived at the hospital lobby, hand in hand, garnering curious looks from everyone. Others were openly staring. I could hear them whispering about us.

"Don't mind them," Rina said.

I shook my head, "I'm not."

Then to my surprise, she pulled me by the waist and kissed me soundly on the lips. My eyes practically bugged out of my sockets.

The whispers turned into squeals.

I took a peek, and yep, we were the center of attention. Everyone was openly gawking, there jaws dropped on the hospital floor.

Rina pulled away, grinning from ear to ear, "Now there won't be any more speculation. The news will eventually die down once the dust settles. It would of gone on longer if they kept wondering what are status together was."

I giggled, "i guess that's one way to come out."

She gave me a quick peck this time, "see you tomorrow."

We went on our separate ways. I was rotating under internal medicine this time. So Rins and I will no longer be working together. I felt a slight pang of disappointment, but the prospect of learning something new made me feel excited.

"El! Over here!" Venice called.

I smiled warmly at my friend.

"Umagang umaga gumagawa na kayo ng scandal," Venice teased.

I brows furrowed, "Ano?"

"Girl, talk of the hospital kayo. Mag halikan ba naman sa gitna ng lobby," she laughed.

I could feel a blush creeping under my skin.

"Si Rina kasi..."  i grumbled.

We listened in on the orientation before we went to the ward to get our assignments.

"I'm happy you worked things out. I swear, I was going to give her a piece of my mind na after what she did to you," Venice told me sincerely.

I sighed, "yeah. Me too. So, i take it rhian knows already?"

She smirked, "Iyon pa. She's such a gossip."

I groaned, "i'll give her a call later."

Venice chuckled, "Goodluck with that."
