My dad made me a tire swing when I was younger. It was pretty big for one person and it always felt like I was meant to share it with someone. My dad knew I was an only child, I don't know why he picked such a big tire. Even now, I've grown and it's still big enough for two people.

Even though the tireswing makes me feel a little lonely, I still love it and I sit on it every afternoon to see the sunset no matter what the weather is like. I've spent loads of nights on this swing, rainy, cold, warm, windy, you name it.

I was sitting on the swing, my back leaning on the inside of the tire and my legs hanging off both sides. The tire swayed a bit back and forth, it was comforting and quiet like always.

"Hey, Clay." Justin said walking outside, towards me. I sat up to look at him and waved. Justin's never came out here with me before, no one has.

"Mind if I join you?" He asked peeking his head in to smile at me.

"I've been waiting for someone to join me for like 10 years, be my guest." I said swinging my leg over the side so he could sit next to me. He say down making the tire swing back and forth a bit. The sun started to set, scattering pink, purple and blue across the sky.

"10 years? You've had this thing for that long?" He asked, turning his body to lean against the tire and face me. I do the same, making our knees rub together a bit.

"Uh, yeah. My dad built it for me when I was 8. It's always been so big and I've always wanted to share it with someone but I never really trusted anyone enough to bring them here." I said turning towards the sunset.

"Oh. I'm sorry." He said obviously feeling bad for intruding.

"Justin. You have nothing to be sorry for. If I could pick anyone to be here with, it would be you." I said trying to reassure him. He nodded with a smile.

"You know, I come here every night. I watch the sunset and think about literally everything here. It helps me relax." I said to him. He placed his hand on my thigh, tracing the hem on the side of my jeans.

"Really? I knew you came to bed late but I didn't know you were here the whole time." He said softly. I looked over at him, admiring his calm face.

"Yeah, no one really knows." I threw my leg over the other side of the tire and pulled Justin's leg over mine so we were facing each other. Our legs tangled together just felt so natural and so nice. He chuckled and rested his hand on the top of my thigh this time.

"This is really peaceful. Would you mind if I came out here with you sometimes?" He asked softly gliding his thumb back and forth across my thigh. I smiled, happy he asked me that.

"I'd love it if you sat out here with me." I said happily. I raised my hand up, placing it on Justin's shoulder. My hand trailed down his chest, down to his stomach. My fingers played with the bottom his shirt, wrapping it around my middle finger. Justin looked down at my hand and placed his on mine, guiding it under his shirt.

My face grew pink but I didn't pull away. His stomach was so warm against my cold fingers. My fingers glided across his smooth skin, feeling every bump and flaw. Justin sat up, moving his hand from my thigh to my hips. He let his head fall against my chest as he softly kissed the spot above my heart, his hand raising up to my shoulder blade. My arms instinctively wrapped around him, rubbing his back up and down. Justin kissed up my collarbone, making me giggle at how it tickled. He kissed up my neck, up my jaw. He sat up to briefly press his lips against mine before pulling away. I hummed contently.

The moon started to rise up, shining down on us. I could see the way Justin's eyes were studying my face, taking in every detail. I subconsciously grinned at his focused expression, making him tilt his head at me.

"What are you laughing about?" He asked poking my chest accusingly. I grabbed his finger with my own and guided his hand to hold mine.

"You just looked so cute. And I love when you tilt you're head like that. It makes you look like a puppy." I teased, raising my other hand to his cheek, pinching it playfully. He rolled his eyes with a small giggle.

"You're so stupid." He roared as he scooped me up in his arms to put me in his lap, making the swing twirl us around. We both chuckled, grabbing onto the tire so we don't fall out.

"Yeah, I'm the stupid one. You almost made me fall!" I yelled out, ruffling Justin's messy hair. He smirked at me.

"What if it was on purpose?" He said scooping me up again, preparing to do something. My jaw dropped and my arms gripped onto him.

"You wouldn't." I exclaimed, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"I would!" He yelled, as he threw me on top of the swing. He climbed out and pushed me around, making me clench onto the tire. I yelled his name in between giggles, trying to kick him. He dodged me and kept throwing the tire around, making me laugh. That's how the rest of the night went, we just played and laughed, kissing occasionally.

And I never spend another night alone on that old tire swing.
