Virgil's p.o.v.

(This is six months later they have dated for a year)

Today is the day I am going to propose to Roman. I am not at all ready, but Patton is here to help me pick out my outfit similar to what I wore on our first date. We're going to go to Milo's Theater, which is where I started my crush on the princely character. Patton picks me out a nice outfit with black jeans, a purple dress shirt and a black and silver tie. I only do light makeup, not wanting to overdo it. We still have 30 minutes until I have to go pick up Roman, so me and Patton rehearse what I'm going to say.

~time skip for Michael who's in the bathroom at a party~

I get into my car waving goodbye to Patton.

"You will do great kiddo, good luck!"

I smile hopefully.

I drive to Romans college playing his playlist on my phone. I see him exit his dorm waving bye to, I'm assuming, Logan. He looks great, dark blue jeans and a partly unbuttoned dark red dress shirt. I'm snapped out of my daze by Roman saying,

"Wow, you look great my chemically imbalanced romance."

"You look a million times better princey."

"Don't insult my boyfriend like that!"

Hopefully his fiancé by the end of the night. I laugh as he gets in the car.

Romans p.o.v.

"Don't insult my boyfriend like that!"

Hopefully fiancé by the end of the night, I say in my head as I sit in the car and feel the small ring box in my pocket.

Tonight is the night, that's why I got logan to help pick out my outfit, it has to be special. After we see the show I am going to suggest going to the park, which is where I will pop the big question!

"What show are we seeing again?"

"Beauty and the beast, your favourite," Virgil says.

I'm so excited about tonight.

3rd person p.o.v.

The end of the show is approaching and Virgil's giving himself a pep talk while Roman is almost bursting with excitement.

"Why are you so energetic today, princey?" Virgil whispers to Roman.

Roman didn't respond he just hummed.

Virgil's p.o.v.

Ok, it's almost time you got this, the author wouldn't let you down.

Would I?

Hopefully not.

After the final curtain Roman was about to talk when I interrupt him,

"I have to go to the bathroom, I will be right back."

He nods.

Virgil ⛈: I'm about to do it wish me luck dad!

Patton 🐾: good luck kiddo! You can do it :)

Virgil ⛈: thanks so much dad, I'm going out there

Romans p.o.v.

Virgil comes back from the bathroom looking really nervous.

"What's up Stormcloud, why are you nervous?"

"Well... wait what is that?" He points to the stage and I look there.

I look back around and see Virgil on one knee with a ring box in his hand.

"So Roman, will you be my prince?" He asks with a hopeful smile.

"DAMMIT!" I yell.

"What?"

"I WANTED TO DO IT!" I shout getting down on one knee.

"I guess that's a yes?"

"I'll say yes if you do," I say with a huge smile.

"Of course you pain in the ass prince!"

I get up and kiss him.

"YAY!" I hear.

A man that looks like Patton but with a moustache jumps up.

"Patton you blew our cover." A voice that I recognize as Logan's says.

"PATTON? LOGAN?"

"Yeah, we just had to see this!" Patton says.

"Yes as Patton said, we had to see what would happen because we knew both of you wanted to propose tonight," Logan says.

"YOU JERKS!"

Patton told me and Virgil to keep Logan looking our way. I saw Patton get down on one knee right before Logan turned around.

"Well Logan they got their answers can I have mine?"

"Of course I will marry you, Patton!" Logan looked close to tears.
