"Alright! What movie are we watching tonight?" Archie asks while he sits next to Betty on the couch
"Arch, we are not watching a movie" Betty states. Archie raises his eyebrows.
"Are you serious?! We have that test tomorrow!" Archie looks down and doesn't say anything.
"Oh my god. You didn't know, did you!?" Betty exclaims.
"I'm sorry Betty! But with everything going on I just...didn't know. You know with Veronica not reminding me of things I don't need to know I just.. I'm sorry." Archie says with a frown on his face.
Betty pretends to be mad but breaks instantly, and starts laughing. "What?" Archie asks confused.
"I'm sorry Arch," Betty starts. She can't stop laughing, so eventually Archie starts laughing as well.
"I just can't stay mad at you. It's literally impossible." Betty finishes.
"That's what you were cackling about?!" Archie exclaims while laughing even harder than before.
"Yeah!" Betty almost yells because she's laughing so hard.
Betty and Archie are still laughing when Betty gets a phone call from her mother.
"Hey, mom what's up?" Betty asks. Archie can see Betty get confused, so he whispers "Put it on speaker." Betty does, and Archie hears what's happening.
"Betty, wherever you are, you can't leave for two months." Alice says frantically.
"I can't what?" Betty says confused.
"I'm sorry honey, but we have no choice. It's a stupid restriction thing. The quarantine doesn't happen until tomorrow, so you can come back here and get your stuff." Alice says. Betty dares to glance at Archie.
"Mom where will you be staying?" Betty asks. Alice sighs before answering. She's hesitating.
"I will be staying at FP's, honey." Alice says.
"What the hell mom!" Betty yells. Archie looks at her with a worried expression.
"Betty, I know! But I have no other choice." Alice tries to explain.
"Uh- yeah, you do. You stay at our house? Don't you think it's weird that you're staying at my ex-boyfriend dad's house? Like you don't find that weird at all?" Betty asks with a cocky expression on her face.
"Elizabeth, I will not be fighting with you about this. You have an hour wherever you are and then you come home, pack your bags, and head back over." Alice says simply.
"Alright. I'm at Archie's so..." Betty trails off. Archie wonders what's she's doing.
"Oh." Alice starts. "Well, be home soon. Love you honey." Alice finishes and hangs up. Betty scoffs and sets the phone down before looking at Archie, and now they've bursted into laughter. This'll be fun.
