It was a late sunday evening and Marinette was having dinner with her family. All the conversations were about school work and the bakery that day. Its was a peaceful uneventful evening.
Until, the dupainchengs' get a weird knock on the door.
"Who could that be at this time of night?!" Sabine(mari's mum) states confused.
Marinette being the kind selfless person she is says ," dont worry mum, I'll get the door"
"Thankyou sweetie"
Mari flung the door open as fast as she could.
"CAT NOIR!?" she shouts weirded out at why he is at her house late at night.
"What are you doing here kitty?" She says curiously, while smirking at the black cat.
"I just came to see you my purincessss"
"At this time kitty?" Mari rolls her eyes.
"I just wanted to know how you are feline today" cat said flirtatiously.
Inside her head mari said to herself "is he always like this, or just around me and ladybug?"
"Silly cat you know I'm fine, you don't need to check up on me !"
"I know my purincess but I cant bear to be away from you for long!"
"CATT!!" she shouts but ends in a giggle.
"What is it mildly?!" He said with a huge smirk on his face, while he said it his eyes lit up just so he could watch marinette reaction carefully.
Mari's eyes grow huge and a concerned look of shock blankets her face.
"What did you say kitty?" She spat out all dazed and confused.
"I said, what is it milady?" Cat got the reaction he had hoped from marinette "is it really her" he thought to himself. His eyes beamed with curiosity mixed with love.
"What?!"
"How?"
Marinette can't comprehend what's happening
"Is the real life!!?"(in her head)
"Marinette are you alright? Who is at the door?!" Sabine yells.
"Its alright mum! It's my...eh.. friend !!" Mari quickly answers back to her mum.
"We are going up to my room for a bit I will be down soon!" Mari spits out quickly without thinking.
"Okay, sweetie dont be to long, I dont want your food to get cold!"
"Okay mum"
Marinette quickly grabs cat noirs hand and pulls him to her room.
"Kitty how do you know!" Marrinete asks him with a gentle but fierce force.
"Bugaboo it's a long story..."
"I have all night kitty!" She looks at him disapprovingly.
"Well..." cat exhales...
