UNIVERSAL SPACE TIME - YR 873 08/05 7:41

The first ever, Interstellar space ship, a masterpiece of the human race. Marking a new era, a new chance. 10 Years after the start of the building process, 2 years after being finished, it was finally launched. The Arche 001. Leaving our known galaxy, to find a home, in a distant system.

UNIVERSAL SPACE TIME - YR 873 12/05 13:27

It has been one hour since the Arche left it's home galaxy. The connection broke down, as the feed was lost in it's old galaxy. The bridge was as alive as it could be. People swarming around. With ARC-001 and it's follow dumb-AI trying to find the problem. Then everything else went offline. Weopon systems, the FTL-engine everything that could go wrong, went wrong.

The generals of the different systems, nations and militaries started discussions. The people from the home-planet of the human race where calmer then the rest. Although not by a lot. The russians as they we're called, threw "compliments" around, the americans just screamed like newborn babies. The people that came from europe, from the United Kingdom and germany as the two nations we're called. Those people from there just continued on with whatever, drinking their tea and beers as they did so.

Then, out of seemingly nowhere. The on-board smart-AI ARC-001 activated the alarms, letting hell let loose on the shop as everyone ran around screaming and only then noticing why. A giant, with the eye seeable black-hole. Some passengers yelled to the crew that they could still do something.

But it was already too late, and everyone with a bit of brain could see that. The ship was already past the event-horizon, the gravity of the black-hole pulling them closer and closer. The crew still tried some things, but even if they could escape, how would they get back, they we're in the middle of a black-spot. Outside of their own galaxy.

Finally realising that it was too late, people started to send out messages, hoping that it would reach them.

ARC-001 simply booted up the engines, using the full thrust to fly directly into the black-hole. Collecting all sorts of data which hopefully could reach one of the bouyes that lay at the most outer part of their home-galaxy. After letting the dumb-AI's take care of that he gave himself the commmand to shut-off. Not wanting to deal with the stuff that was about to happen.

The last thing that was picked up on the microphone, before all of his sensors said goodbye we're the screams and cries of the people on board of the Arche. A mission, that was supposed to help humanity settle down in another galaxy, failed, miserably.

With the dumb-and smart-AI's shutting off one after another the ship went darker and darker, only leaving dark hallway's behind.
