The Thunder Storm

Description: Class 1-A finds themselves having a thunderstorm outside their dorms, and nobody expects Bakugou to react to the thunder how he does.

Bakugou and the rest of class 1-A sit in the common room as dark clouds roll over the school and rain begins to beat at the windows. Iida steps over to the glass frames, peering outside, before turning to the class, speaking authoritatively as his hand chops the air, "Everybody, there seems to be a thunder storm coming! Please stay inside for now!"

Bakugou scoffs, crossing his arms and smirking as he leans back on the couch next to Kirishima, the rest of the self-termed "Bakusquad" sitting around them. "Fuck off, Robot Arms. We don't have to listen to you."

"Bakugou-kun, it would be highly irresponsible to go outside in this—"

"Do I look like I give a damn? No. So fuck off," Bakugou snarls, though there is an emotion in his eyes that Kirishima, the only person who notices it, cannot decipher.

The students return to their chattering and the tv show playing in front of them quickly, Iida sighing and shaking his head in disappointment at his classmate's behavior. Bakugou grumbles under his breath angrily. "Bakubro, are you okay?" Kirishima asks from the blonde's side.

"The fuck does that mean, Shitty Hair?" the boy spats angrily in response. "I'm not fucking weak!"

Kirishima's brow creases and a small frown creeps onto his expression. "I never said you are, bro."

Bakugou scoffs in reply, turning away from the redhead. Just then, the first clap of thunder jolts the students from their peaceful states, multiple yelps filling the air of the common room. Students turn to each other when the shock fades, laughing at their own and others' reactions until a loud gasp makes them turn towards the couch, only to stare, gobsmacked, with their jaws dropped and eyes wide.

On the couch, Kirishima sits, arms held out to either side stiffly like sticks as he stares downward in shock and slight fear at the blonde hair connected to a trembling body that has latched onto him with a shout.

"B-B-B-Bakubro?" Kirishima stutters out as the rest of the room remains silent.

Said boy's tightly clenched eyes slowly open and he freezes, body completely rigid, hands still latching onto the redhead's shirt. His gaze slowly moves upwards until he locks eyes with Kirishima. Suddenly, an explosion is let off on the redhead, who quickly hardens his skin, as the blonde leaps backwards and tumbles off the couch, landing gracelessly on the floor.

"THE FUCK ARE YOU ALL LOOKING AT?" he shouts as he seems his surprised classmates, his face twisting into a scowl. "Dammit. I'm getting the fuck away from you damn extras!" he spats as an explanation before he hurriedly gets up and stalks over to the stairs, hands clenched, slamming the door behind him with a loud bang.

The rest of class 1-A stares at the door in shock before they turn to the nonplussed Kirishima. All of a sudden the boy's face turns as red as his hair, and a moment later the rest of the class bursts into laughter, with the exception of a few of the more reserved students, though they still seem amused.

"Dude!" Kaminari exclaims, holding on to his sides that ache from laughing too hard, tears falling down his smiling face. "Bakugou just hugged you!"

Kirishima's face reddens impossibly more than it already was as he sputters unrecognizable words in response, but everyone continues to laugh at their poor, confused classmate even as Midoriya attempts to explain Bakugou's fear of thunder.

I literally made this and commented it in a comment section to prove my point that this is a head canon of mine THAT WOULD SOOOOO HAPPEN and then was like "I'll post it," so shoutout to the peeps in those comments💙 and ya ik it's short lol this is my first oneshot haha! I had actually intended Bakugou's Poem to be a oneshot and... well... that didn't happen lol
