The Alleyway

Description: Bakugou is walking past an alley on his way to the dorms after some grocery shopping when he is attacked, and a certain redhead comes to his rescue.

Bakugou grumbles, scowling at the ground as he stomps down the sidewalk, bags filled with vegetables, spices, herbs, and meats rocking back and forth where they dangle from his arms at his sides, his hands stuffed into his pockets. Why did he have to make the grocery run? Well, at least the other idiots in the dorms couldn't go and buy a bunch of junk food. Bakugou scoffs at the thought. If they want to be heroes, they should eat like them, too!

The blonde continues to snarl at the ground, civilians leaping out of his way as he speed walks down the path. Suddenly, Bakugou hears a clang down an alley that opens up only several yards ahead of him, though passers-by continue in their actions, ignoring the noise. Bakugou's brow furrows, and he pulls his hands from his pockets, readjusting so that he is properly holding the grocery bags in his fists.

Cautiously, he walks up to the gap between buildings and peers into the space, its width only about four yards, making it fairly narrow. Seeing nothing that could have caused the noise, only large and small trashcans and bags of trash (wow, didn't realize I'd be featured ;) ), Bakugou takes a step into the dimly lit area, eyes shifting around to monitor his surroundings. "Is somebody in this fuckin' dump?" he calls out into the quiet area, the only sound beside his echo coming from the civilians and cars on the street and sidewalks he came from.

Bakugou continues his steady pace further down the alleyway before he hears a rustle, and he pauses, eyes darting to his right and landing on a now noisy, wobbling trashcan. His eyes narrow and he lowers his body into a battle stance, anticipation for a fight building in him and adrenaline pumping through his veins. Bakugou tenses as the can falls over and the lid topples off with a clang. As rustling continues to sound off, his eyes narrow, and he takes a steady step forward, only for a small raccoon to sprint out of the metal container, startling the blonde. Bakugou leaps back with a grimace. "Damn trash pandas!" he shouts angrily as the creature scurries off.

With a grunt, Bakugou turns around towards the mouth of the alley. "That was fuckin' pointless," he pouts to himself as he moodily stomps his feet away, back towards the chaotic ruckus of civilization, not noticing the shadow growing behind him until he feels a tap on his shoulder. Bakugou spins around, crouching back into his attack stance with a snarl. "The fuck?" he spats, looking at the tall, skeletal brunette man behind him. "Who the hell are you?"

The man smiles a creepy smile that takes up half of his face while his eyes widen. "Oh, just a curious fan of yours, Bakugou-kun." As Bakugou furrows his brow, the man elaborates, "See, I wanted to see which of us would win if we fought. Let's make a deal, though, okay?"

Bakugou stands up straighter. If the guy wants a fight, he'll give him one. "What's the deal, then, asshole?"

The man's smile widens impossibly. "If I win, I get to keep your body with the other ones."

Bakugou feels chills go down his spine. "You fucking creepy bastard!" He glares at the man before putting both grocery bags into one hand and launching towards him, setting off a large explosion point blank on the man's bony face. Bakugou leaps backwards after the explosion, waiting tensely for the smoke to fade away.

Soon, Bakugou is met by a scene that shakes him to the core. The man's skin is sliding off of his frame, seemingly melting off of his bones, the hair thinning before his eyes until it vanishes, and Bakugou is left facing a standing skeleton with glowing eyes.
