STONE

Genesis

Space. Quiet, dark, endless. A place of forever mystery, missing miscellaneous particles, and plenty of room for a war. There is always a battle right outside of a planetarium system somewhere. Eight hours earlier, an armada lied in wait right outside of a large system of Corneliat.
Now there are small battleships flying into each other, lasers lighting up the dark emptiness of space, canons blasting the cargo walls of it's opponents.

Across the battlefield near Corneliat, by it's moon, Rago-X, flies four starfighter ships, engaging into the battle. All four ships bear the same red and yellow stripe as it's mothership that linger in the far background.
A voice from the leader of the starfighters echoed in the other three tag communicators, "Alright crew, I need you all in tip top shape and ready to blast away these scoundrels or no dinner tonight! Am I clear?"

In unison, the other three declared, "Crystal, Captain! Ready for orders!"

Again, the leader of the starfighters, explained, "Alright, all we need to do is take down the west fleet. Snax-B, I need you on my left flank. Rose-Bird on my right. The way we're going in, I'm gonna need it. Beaux-Squad, once we go in, I need you to swerve around to the back. Take advantage of their blind spot and wipe them out. They'll never see it coming."
The voice paused for a moment before asking, "Where's LadyLess? I need her to help Beaux-Squad!"

A deeper thick voice coming from the Beaux-Squad announces through the captain's speaker, "Cap'n, I honestly don't see her anywhere. She was right behind us. Should I send the mothership a ring for backup?"

The captain sighs heavily in his helmet's comlink, "No Fed, that won't be necessary. She's been doing this frequently. Androids.. Should of never agreed to that time share... Remind me to reboot her when this is over. Okay team, you know the plan, let's go for it!"

"Aye, Cap'n!", said the team in unison as they thrust their engines forward towards the enemy line.
As the team starts to close in, a soft female voice from the ship Rose-Bird, comes through to every else's comlink, "Captain, I've found LadyLess, but you're not gonna like it. She right the middle of the battle. She's stirred the pot!"

"Seriously?", the captain yelled. His face was covered with a detection mask, only his eyes shown as he turned in his seat to look around.
"She just blew our cover! Change of plans. Rose-Bird, you stay by my left flank behind me. We are gonna take out their queen bee with whatever bomb charges we have left. Maybe we can still trap them.
Beaux-Squad, we've gotta clean up this mess so I want the Caffeine maneuver from ya. I need you to to be the distraction and destroyer. Snax-B, find LadyLess and take her home. Shut her up and down. Everyone clear?"

In unison once more the team says, "Transparently, Captain!", as everyone thrusts their engines to the max.

"I don't get paid enough for this.." mumbled the captain, flipping a few switches on his dashboard.

The team moved along with the plan, heavy laser fire was burning through the emptiness around them. Even as good of pilots as they were, their skill wasn't going to last long.
As battle continued to raged on, the ship Snax-B was closing in on Ladyless, trying to get his recluse beam on her to bring her in. The pilot figured that he just needed to shoot her down and drag the pieces back to the mothership. It wouldn't be the first time. Best part about androids, is that you can just put them back together. The only problem is to just get her to stand still long enough, and that wasn't happening.
Finally, under no fault of the Snax-B, the Ladyless veered an immediate left, crashing into another small ship, causing her to lose her right side wing and engine, debris flying out into deep space.
As the Ladyless is losing control, the pilot of Snax-B calls in to the captain. "Captain, Code Red, We've got a situation! Ladyless is going down. A foreign ship struck her and I can't get a hold on her, she's falling apart!"
