It was a new day and a special day a day that said "Hey its time for you to get up and get ready for school!" Lana looks over at me from the other side of the room with blankets covered on top of her nose."But I don't want to get up its too early and school is so boring!" I reach her out of bed and grab a pink fluffy dress with white pantyhose. She looks at me and smirks as if we were going to war on this... We were just now driving into the drop off line, "Good bye have a nice day and be sure to ride with my mom this afternoon" She winks then hops out of the car and skips to the lunch room. I had all these thoughts going around and around inside of my head. Remember to call the school and tell them that Lana will be picked up with your Mother. And an echo that repeated thousands of times that went something like: remember to remind your Mother to get Lana after school. And more thoughts were rounding up in my head when in the beginning of the day I ended up at a fancy restaurant called "Latino's Meat" I step inside and made reservations for me and my Mother. My black skinny dress was touching the floor it was hard to walk in but I made the best of it. After being seated I glance over at the bar to see the specials and there the dark haired man was. "Once again" I knew I couldn't ignore him he was everywhere I went! Is there anytime I can go somewhere in public and not see him? He catches me staring but unfortunately he doesn't do a thing about it he just turns around and he sips his cold beer. Staring at the table cloth a hand appears on my back I reach up and she starts "So I'll be picking Lana up today am I right?" I was very happy to see her, although she had lost about 30 pounds since I seen her so now she looks like a small twig "Yes I made sure of it" I smiled real proudly at her but she knew that the look I just gave her didn't mean shit. The waitress came up with a bra that was stuffed and old rugged shoes. But I knew she was new at this. "May I take your orders?" I couldn't resist the lobster bites. My mind changes then I focus on the guy at the bar. Mother smacks me upside the head "Are you going to answer her?" I raise up from the table, through my hands in the air then run to the bathroom. Staring at myself in the front view mirror Mother comes in with her hands on he hips "Now you don't have a reason to act like that Present Jewel!" Her eyes were full of fear and her skin was so pale except for her blazing red cheeks. I walk over to her "I can't believe you would act like this and especially at dinner in a public place on the day your going to pick up Lana" I was very calm about what I had said but I wasn't sure about receiving any forgiveness coming from her. "Present I would like you to straighten up" She walks out of there so slim and fast it was not funny...He was staring at me, I could feel the warmth of his closeness and our eyes met. His green brown eyes met with my blue ones. My mother stood up from the table with a determined look (almost like Lana's) "I'm going to go pick up Lana" She smiled and walked away instantly. Then my all time favorite song by Ed Sheeran came on the radio called "Kiss me" The bartender turns it up to a couple knotches. I walk over and sit next to the dark haired guy. He looks at me"And your hearts against my chest lips prest to my neck" I was surprised he knew the song. I started singing along "I fallen for your eyes but they don't know me yet" He puts an arm around my chair and speaks up to the bartender "2 margaritas" Then he looks at me "It's on me" I look over at the bartender pouring the margaritas into the cup and I start singing again "this feels like falling in love" The bartender throws the drinks at us and he gave me a smile that sort of meant that it was totally on tonight! I reach into my purse and grab my phone it reads 3:12pm. I assumed I had a few more minutes till I had to go into work (I work at this bar unfortunately) "Do you like this bar because I wanna put it in our score book." I put in. He looks at me with a smirk mixed with a shocked kind of look "You work here, Wow I come here almost every monday! I wonder how I don't noticed you here?" I laughed but in my head I was thinking this was all a dream. I get off of the stool "I best be going to work now" I pat him on the back. He reaches over and puts one hand onto my shoulder which gave me tingles "I prefer not to say my real name but for now just call me j"
