Lmao, I have fallen down the rabbit hole that is fanfic.
You actually don't need to know the real life characters to be invested in this book. It's so cute, and I love the way the author subtly foreshadows and builds their story until the very end.
I thought it was really cool that the author portrayed Wade's character, and the escalation of his annoyance to the talking boxes(which ultimately lead to something rash that I thought was unexpected, but looking back on the rest of the story it seems to fit perfectly with the storyline and Wade's character in general).
I just love the way the author lets Wade and Peter's personalities shine though in word choice, actions, and sentence structure. I love that you don't need to know marvel to read this book, and I just love this book as a whole.
