I lay in my hospital bed, smiling just at the thought of today's events. My head pounded and I quickly closed my eyes. The sight of Hunter putting his arm over my head and slamming my locker shut made me light up inside. I remembered his soft lips up against mine, his heart beating against mine. I heard someone scream in the distance. It sounded like a boyish scream, but it still was full of fear. I wanted to see who it was, the thought it might be Hunter stung my insides. My right arm burned inside like it was just set in fire. The pain was indescribable. I heard another screech just as pained as the other, as someone put a hand on my forehead and their head on my shoulder. "I'm here for you, forever and always." He murmured, pushing out a cry. I knew it was Hunter, because of the "forever and always." That's our cute little thing together. I suddenly heard a voice that did not sound like mine, but I felt my lips move to the words, "Always and forever." At the sound of my voice, Hunter hugged me tighter and rested his head right over my heart, leaving tears in his place. "Don't leave me.... I-I need you Paige. I love you." He cried, tears pouring out his eyes and soaking my cherry red shirt. I spoke with such a weak voice it scared me, but I said, "Me too."
