I remembered walking into school without a worry. The fall leaves crunching under my feet, falling into my crisp brown hair. My smile was plastered on my face from ear to ear. Hunter Smith, this really cute and funny guy my age that I had known forever, had texted me good morning! I really don't have any friends, he's my only one. It's actually easier for me to make friends with boys then girls. I slowly walked into the gates of my crappy high school. I stared at the ground, lost on my train of thought. Wow, my train of thought sure is a wreck, it's unable to steer or stop it's self. Suddenly, I slammed into somebody and fell straight in my back, with that person on top of me. I lay still and silent, trying to clear the hair slowly out if my eyes. "Hey! Watch where-" I stopped mid sentence as I released who the person was. I stared straight into his cold, grey eyes, as he whispered so quiet it was barley audible, "I apologize for what has just happened... How could I ever repay you?" He swiftly stood up, put out his hand, and pulled me up with great force into a hug. His warmth and the smell if his cologne was still on top of me in this hard hospital bed. I whipped back to my memory.
He planted his warm, soft lips in my cheek, surprising me and giving me a tingling sensation down my spine. This guy better chill out! He put one of is arms on my shoulder and the other in his jacket pocket. He began to walk at a steady pace.
"I was thinking, you know, how close we are. We have spent all our lives together, watching each other grow up and protecting each other..." He told me with a smirk, looking at me sideways. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He spat out. I stopped dead in my tracks. OF COUSRE I WOULD!!! But then the thought that I had cancer struck upon me like lightning. "Of course." I whispered to him as he pulled me into a hug, kissing the top of my head. "I already love us..." He said to me, as we continued the position we were in before. Cancer wasn't going to stop me from getting this hot chuck of a guy!
