I left the room, and tried not to look like I was hiding something. I'm really bad at pretending. Really though, there is the new girl named Rose hiding in my room, and she was there all night. How am I supposed to act normal about that?
"What's up Jacee?" I said kinda casually. In my opinion.
"So I need to tell you and this new girl something. It's not like super important, it just kind of deals with training." she explained. "I know how you have always wanted to be a trainer so I thought you could teach her."
"That sounds awesome!" I exclaimed. "Thank you so much!"
"Your very welcome. Now we need to introduce you guys. She actually is in the room right next door to you!"
At this comment, I had a mini heart attack. The new girl was in my room!
"Um before we get her, can I make myself look a little bit nicer?"
She looked over me. my pajamas were okay with me but my hair was a mess. Normally I wouldn't care but I had to warn Rose! She needed to get to her room unnoticed.
"Ya sure. Just be quick. I don't want anyone seeing me out here waiting by a door. They might get suspicious."
"Alright I'll be quick!" I ran into my room and shut the door behind me.
"Is everything ok?" Rose asked.
"Um kinda." I confessed. "Jacee said she needs to talk to us. Both of us. So you need to get to your room."
"I don't know where it is though!" She complained.
"Well I do. It's to the right of mine."
"How do I get there? Isn't Jacee just outside?"
"Well yeah, but being here so long, I found a little crawl space between the two rooms." I held my hands up. "It's true, I do get curious sometimes."
"Okay." she laughed. "Show me and I'll make myself comfortable."
I pushed through my closet and all my clothes, and found the door.
"Alright come through." I motioned for Rose to come in my closet.
"Umm..this is a weird place for a secret door." she said. "It doesn't seem so secret."
"Well I painted it a different color so I could see it. Normally it's the same as the wall." I explained.
"Ok. I'll see you outside in a minute." she gave me a goodbye hug, and left. I hope I didn't seem too shocked. I mean that's just her personality I guess.
I quickly brushed out my hair and went to meet Jacee out in the hall again.
"Ok. You took long enough." Jacee scolded. "Now we have to get Rosalyn. Remember, don't make a bad first impression, and you are only her teacher. Got it?" She emphasized the 'only teacher' part.
"Yeah, I got it. I hope she is nice." I tried to sound like I didn't know. I think she knew something was up though.
"Something is wrong. Your acting so, strange!" Jacee was telling me. I knew she knew!
"I'm sorry I-I'm tired." I lied. I couldn't risk her knowing!
"Alright but you better be able to bring your act together for when you teach." She said.
"Ok got it. Once I get good sleep it will be better." I assured her.
"Alright now it's time to meet Rosalyn."
