Alana's P.o.V

  I stepped out of the nurse's office cautiously. Upon discovery, my bruise just started to hurt worse so I got it looked at during the last few periods of school. The nurse just put some ointment on it and called it a day. Of course, captain extra, Ambrose, had followed me there and was told to wait outside. "Hey are you ok!" he had been staring off into nothingness but practically jumped down my throat when he saw me. "Yea I'm cool should be gone in like a week nothing serious". I took my bag from his hands, I had asked him to hold it when I went inside. Ambrose now had this stupid pouting look plastered all over his face "sowwy" he said jutting out his bottom lip "mhm" I mumbled and rolled my eyes not thinking much of it and turned to walk away.

  I was swiftly turned back around by two, rather large, hands on my shoulder, Ambrose was now eye level with me and crouched slightly, to be my height, also uncomfortably close to my face. "I really am sorry," he said his eyes shining with regret and a distinctive seriousness in his tone. Overwhelmed by his close proximity and tone I quickly brushed away his hands and stepped back. "Bro it's not that serious plus I wasn't looking where I was going" I mumbled quickly, looking down, "Yea imma go before you get any weirder" I spun on my heels stepping away quite quickly. I was only a few meters away when Ambrose yelled "I'll message you later!" not turning around I put my hand up signaling I heard him then it clicked "wait what!" I spun around to look back at him again. "How'd you get my number!" he opened his mouth to reply but I guess he didn't wanna yell again. He quickly jogged towards me, he got some range on those legs damn. "When you left your bag with me your phone was unlocked," He said with his typical goofy grin as if that wasn't a total invasion of privacy. "Why were you on my phone Ambrose?" I said exasperated "I got bored" he looked down like a little kid being scolded. 

  I opened my mouth to lecture him about privacy and personal belongings but he beat me to it. "Hey, how are you getting home by the way" "I usually go with my friend Aniya" I trailed off as I checked my phone and saw 8 missed calls from, you guessed it, Janiya. Followed by spam of text along the line of;

'Lana I've got an appointment this evening I can't give you a ride'

  "Well, what now?" Ambrose commented from over my shoulder causing me to jump "Ambrose! Personal! Space!" I gestured aggressively to the space around me to which he put both his hands up defensively and stepped back. "You didn't answer my question tho." he dropped his hands putting them in his pockets, "Um I dunno...a bus?" I said now actually realizing I've never not had a ride home, what bus do I even catch? " I looked up from my thinking to find Ambrose staring at me amusement shining in his eyes, in return I greeted him with a face very much resembling this one > -_-. "I can take you home if you want". Now I really didn't want that but I didn't even know which bus to catch so I, very reluctantly, said "Sure".

  He was actually pretty good at driving I was expecting crazy. "Oh, this one," I said looking up from my daze and pointing at my house "Your house is so cute!" are we in a cartoon? I swear I just saw this dude's eyes sparkle. "Yes yes, but I gotta get out before-" I started quickly unbuckling my seatbelt and peering through his window. "Nope too late" I sighed as I spotted my mum peering through the house window slightly pulling back the curtain. I sighed "Thanks for the ride, " I hurriedly grabbed my bag and opened the door "Really." I stepped out and turned flashing him a smile before shutting the door and rushing up my driveway. As I stepped into my house and shut the door I heard him pull off, I started up the stairs but was stopped by the inevitable "Who was that".
