Carrol's POV

"Nice! Another shot. Ngiti pa besh! Smile!!! Ngumiti ka Lele!" utos ni Tanya kay Lilly na mukhang natataeng ewan. I chuckled. Mukha kasi silang magnanay na ayaw mag papicture ng anak.

I was with my friends, Brittania Amore Angelita, my cousin, and Lilly Minerva Marquez, here in the field. May meeting ang mga prof namin so dito na lang namin planong tumambay. Tanya was taking pictures of Lilly while I am busy reading a book of reader's digest.

"Arianna Grande!" hilig talaga ni Lilly na tawagin ako sa ganyang pangalan.

"Mm?" I said, still reading the book and not paying attention to her.

"Carrol! Si Ice Prince papalapit dito, anong plano mo?" Tanya caught my attention, and with that I looked up to them.

Naglalakad ang Prinsipe ng Yelo na akala mo ay prinsipe ng buong campus, kasama niya ang mga minion niya sa likod. Madrid Hellasto was busy with his phone, while Cypher Guimalleno, my cold foster brother, was busy reading a music book.

"What are you three doing here?" Tanya said with a bitchy tone.

"Ay baket? Iyo ba itong campus? 'Di kami pwede pumunta dito?" here comes the fight of Madrid and Tanya.

"May sinabi ba 'kong bawal ka dito? Tinatanong ko lang kung bakit ka nandito?" Tanya said with a defensive tone.

"Tanong mo diyan." Madrid said sabay turo kay August.

Nagbukas ng bag si August at may kinuhang papel doon, hindi pa siya nagsasalita ay umalis na ako.

"Arianna! Wait!"
"Carrol Arianne!" sabay na sigaw nina Tanya at Lilly.

Then, I felt them walking behind me.

"Why did you walk away?" alam kong curious na curious na si Lilly kung bakit umiiwas ako sa pinsan niyang si Agosto tuwing nakakasalubong siya namin. Pero, wala pa akong time na sabihin iyon sa kanya dahil baka magwala siya bigla. Grabe pa naman siya magalit kumpara kay Tanya.

I didn't answer her. I just walk straight to the cafeteria. Gusto ko lang madistract sa pagkain.

As I entered the cafeteria, I saw a vacant table and sat there. Umupo din sina Tanya at Lilly.

"Anong gusto niyo? Libre ko." I said wiggling my eyebrows at them. Nanlaki naman ang mga mata nila. Minsan lang kasi ako nagwawaldas ng pera. Ehe!

"Really? Uhmm.. I would like to order sandwich with lettuce and peanut butter, tapos pineapple punch and tuna salad.... Fries pa pala, barbecue flavor! Hehe!" grabe ang tipid ni Lilly mag order.

"Ikaw?" tanong ko kay Tanya.

"Tubig na lang akin, ang dami na kasing order nung iba." Tanya said while rubbing her hand on her neck. Nagpaparinig. HAHAHA!

"Hoy! Konti lang yun ah! Madami yun kung may watermelon Ice cream pa." sagot ni Lilly.

Then, I ordered for them and for me too. I went back to the table while holding a receipt, ipapadala na lang daw dito yung inorder ko.

"So, tell me! What chemical reaction ang nangyayari sa inyo ng pinsan ko at bakit ka umiiwas?" like I said, anytime magtatanong talaga si Lilly.

But, before I could even answer, Tanya spilled the beans.

"They had a past." tsaka lang niya narealize na sinabi niya na 'yon.

"I-i mean.. Uhmm.." Tanya was looking at me with her apologetic eyes.
