I knock on the cold white door and not soon after hear the thumping of footsteps getting closer.

"Hi," he greets me.

"Peter. Is Chase still here?"

"Yeah you can go ahead up to his room."

"Okay see ya later," I smile and head through the heavily wildlife themed livingroom. I go up the spiral stairs to come to a short hallway. Theres three doors. The one on the left a bathroom, the one on the right Carmens crazy pink room and the one in the very back is Chases. I stride back the hallway with the sqeaking of the floorboard under my weight.

Softly I knock three times with my middle knuckle just above the doorknob. Two seconds pass and a husky like voice says come in. Twisting the handle I swiftly walk into his bedroom.

"Hi," I say, shyly.
"Taylor....he trails off."uh hi" the sound of his voice is strained and awkward.
"How are you doing?" he speaks again.
I dont know how to answer that and I dont want to steal his time with my problems. I came here to keep my mind off my mom and worry about him.
"Im doing pretty good." I lie trying to sound normal.
"Tay, somethings bothering you, I see it in your eyes."
"Im good im good dont worry about me."
"okay," is all he says after that and I decide to leave it that way.

I go over and sit on his bed with him. His sheets and comorter are blue with grey accents. His medium sized room crowdedly fit all his stuff in it. I decide to break the silence.

"Sooo, when did you realize?" I ask this cautiously.

"Realize what" yeah I figured hed be confused.

"That you're on the other team" I reply slowly.

"Oh, um, I knew since I was little. Its one of those things where you always knew something was different about you but you couldnt ever put a finger on it." He tells me and pauses but then continues on."It was just recently, that I figured it out."

"Ohh" I whisper, and thats all I say for a while.

"I had no idea, you've had a bunch of girlfriends."

"yeah they were all like trials. It was weird to me that every girl I went out with I never had real feelings for at all."

"That makes sense now." I agree it is weird.

"Are you sure you're okay?" he has a concerned yet confused expression on his face as he leans in closer. My eyes are fixed on his, gazing into the beautiful bright blue irises he inherited.

"I..I.. I'm fine," I try but damn my stuttering.

"No," he mutters, then kneels down in front of my feet.

"what?" I question

"whats wrong?" his voice is caring and sweet.

I'm so broken and lost. Everything's fading together. I don't know what to say so I say nothing at all. The grey rug has most of my attention.

"Tell me, come on," he pleads with me.

"Moms pregnant." it comes out more of a mumble. I see his expression change in realization. Then to a look of knowing and understanding. His usually bright as a summer sky blue eyes change dark, to an almost dark grey as he looks at me with sympathy.

"Well,"chase starts, "You're dad doesn't know?"

"Uh, I don't know. I just found out and left."

"Hmm," he thinks for a second I can picture the wheels turning in his head."You should talk to her. Ask her what happened and whose it is. Tay don't jump to conclusions. Doing that gets people hurt, you know that."
