Foes or Lovers ~ Diakko

Midnight snack

Akko's POV:

It was around 9pm and I was hungry. So, like anyone would, I decided to sneak into the school kitchen to get some cookies. Now of course I've done this before, however Diana was patroling tonight instead of the teachers. And... If I'm being honest... I've kinda had a crush on her ever since we saved the world from the missile rocket thingy. But it seems like she still hates me. Anyway, I slowly tiptoed out of the dorms and creeped down the hallway. As I got to the kitchen I looked around for the cookies. Once I found the jar I slowly opened it. Haha I did it, I got them. I put one cookie in my mouth and the other two were in my hands. Just as I turned the corner Diana was there. Looking at me with a face of mixed emotions. Probably disapointment, discust, confused, annoyed and many more.

Diana's POV:

As I was patrolling around the school I heard some noise come from the kitchen. I was about to turn the corner when Akko suddenly came out with a cookie in her mouth and two more in her hands. Her eyes widened once she saw me. "Akko what the hell!, seriously... Again!, " I whisper yelled. The cookie dropped on the floor from her mouth when she heard me speak. "I-i..... It's not what it looks like I promise, " she said stuttering. "Just put them back, " I said rubbing circles on my temples. She put the two cookies that were in her hands back and put the one that was in her mouth in the bin. "Hurry up, " I whispered. She quickly followed and we walked back to her dorm. "I'm sorry.... I was just reeeeaaaallllyyyy hungry, " she said.  I rolled my eyes at her childness. As I went to look back at her the moonlight shone down on her through the curtains. She looked so pretty and delicate.  I started to blush and turned my head away. 'Oh god...' I thought. Soon we reached her dorm. I started to feel a weird feeling as I said goodbye, and it only got stronger when I walked away. I decided to head out for the night and walked calmly back to my dorm. I opened the door quietly, as I didn't want to wake up the girls, and got dressed into my silk nightgown. I got comfortable under the covers and slipped into a deep slumber.

Akko's POV: 

It's been about an hour since Diana left and it feels weird. I keep on thinking how stupid I must have looked when she caught me during my cookie raid. I don't know why out of all people Diana is the one who I'm scared of making myself look like a fool in front of....weird. I mean i get that i have a crush on her and all, but iv'e never really had this....Feeling before. As I drown in my thoughts I slowly drift off to sleep.
