More than friends

Diana's POV:

I felt the sun slightly creeping through the curtains. I don't need an alarm clock because my body wakes its self up. I sit up in bed and stretch out my arms as I yawn. Hannah and Barbara are still sleeping, as usual. I slowly stand up, grab my clean uniform and started to head for the showers. As I reach them I notice that someone else is in here too. I shrug it off because someone might have just wanted to wake up early. I go into the shower stall and strip my clothing, putting them on the bench next to my uniform. I turn on the water waiting for it to get hotter. After the shower I dry myself off with my towel and put my uniform on. As I step out I notice the other girl has also finished. "Akko? What are you doing up so early?" I say with a surprised expression. Out of all the students in this school I never expected Atsuko Kagari to be up this early. It was around 5:30. 

Akko's POV:

I decided to get up when Diana usually gets up because I wanted to talk to her. I know I can talk to her during the day but I'm also usually late for classes, so it was kind of a bonus. "O-oh umm, I just wanted to get up early for once, so that I wasn't late for my classes...heheh," I replied with an awkward laugh. "Fair enough," she said as she started to brush her hair. She put it up into a high ponytail and I SWEAR she got 40% hotter than she already was. I just stared at her blushing. I couldn't stop. Well that was until she waved her hand in front of my face. "Akko...Are you alright?" she asked. "huh? oh n-nothing," I mumbled. After that we both parted ways and got our stuff ready for classes.

Diana's POV:

After classes were done for the day I went to the library to study up on some potions we needed to learn for homework. I grabbed some books, some thing to make the potion and went to a table. They were only small potions so it was ok I they were practiced in the library. I put my hair up into a messy bun, sat down and began working. I finished all of them except for one, which needed two people to make.

I stood up and walked around the library for a bit to collect myself and because I needed a break. Suddenly the library doors opened at in came Akko. "Oh, hello Akko," I said with a small smile. "Wasn't expecting to see you here." "Oh yea, well I thought I could study for a bit....plus...I need a partner for the last potion and everyone else is taken," she replied with a sigh. "oh yea, I need a partner too, would you be up for it?" I asked. She started to blush and look away then mumbled "yea sure." We sat down and started working on the work together.

For once I saw her concentrating on something that wasn't about trying to fly or perfect magic skills. 'She's so cute,' I thought as I watched her. A slight blush appeared on our faces when we made eye contact. After we finished the work we walked around the library for a bit talking. We walked down the fantasy novel section and spotted a book that I like to read. I grabbed it and we continued talking. As we stood there it felt awkward.

Akko's POV:

'Now's the chance, ' I thought. "H-hey Diana.... " I said nervously. "Yea?" She replied. "U-um so I was thinking.... Would you maybe want to go out with me?" I asked with a shaking voice. Her eyes widened a little and she started blushing madly. She didn't say anything, she just stood there. She looked away and mumbled something  that I couldnt understand. I looked at her confused and she cleared her throat to speak again. "I-i would love to, " she said. We both laughed and decided to head back to the dorms. We both parted our ways and i walked into my dorm blushing and smiling.
