Author's Notes:

June 2020.

Hello reader! If you're reading this, perhaps you're a fan of Ubisoft's Assassins Creed. If not, then no worries, you won't be lost reading this novel. So please enjoy and leave some of your thoughts along the way.

Just a little note from me on how the concepts and storyline comes (and will come) about. If you're a fan of the series, you know that the Assassins and Templars are opposing factions that fight for changing the world to its own ideal. The Assassins believe in freedom, that freedom is peace (Connor Kenway). And of course, the Templars believe the contrary, that peace comes through order.

Do I believe more in the Templar ideology? Perhaps. Our world needs a level of order to sustain harmony and prevent, well, everyone from just doing what he wants. A little too much freedom without control is a harbinger for danger, if we just look at the mass riots and looting that occur when society goes out of hand. And at the same time, a level of freedom is needed in order for the change makers to invoke innovation and bring in new ideas, voices, and opinions.

This story centres on the freedom taken too excessively by the (now) corrupt Assassin Order, run by desperate global Assassin Mentors who thwarted the Creed's beliefs to attain their world vision... A virus created from a dark Apple of Eden guided the creation of a pathogen that mutated humans into creatures from the time of Those Who Came Before, or as fans may know it, Isu.

Follow Jeremiah Cormac as he fights in this whole new world, and comes one with his Templar roots. And yes, major spoiler here, with his surname.

Have fun and thanks for tagging along this journey.

And of course, all copyrights to their respective owners.

Cheers!
