"It's been years since the Agreste family massacrare from what I hear," Nino said, chewing gum while kissing his girlfriend's cheek.

"Well it's sad to see Marinette's childhood friend getting killed," Alya said, giggling at her boyfriend before frowning.

A while later, a video popped up on the television. It was a man who spoke only French and was talking about Cat Noir.

"Tais-toi, criminel! Chat Noir doit être enfermé," a mid-age man yelled, throwing his camera at the Eiffel tower.

"Today we're looking at how this man's shop was broken in, but there's no evidence showing if Cat Noir robbed it or not," a reporter stated before the news cut off.

While Marinette was busy helping her father, her mother was handling the customers as always.

"Thank you," a customer politely said to her parents before walking out.

"Wasn't that Alya?" Marinette asked her mother, putting away a tray of cookies and macaroons.

"Sadly no," Sabine frowned before paying attention to the customers in line.

"She invited me over her house when I finish up here. I really hope it doesn't take long," Marinette said, weakly smiling as she thinks about Adrien once again.

Her and Adrien been friends since childhood but since what's happened a year ago, she felt guilty and sad about losing her childhood friend. On the other hand, Adrien fell in love with Marinette while he became fond of her, but every chance given, boys began noticing her.

Tom, Marinette's father forbid her to date anyone he didn't approve of. Marinette sneaked out just to hang out with Alya while she tried getting her to date and meet random boys, teasing her about how their children will be but Marinette just ignored her antics.

After her parents served various customers, Marinette called Alya to pick her up and go to her house party. 

Alya came out hugging Marinette almost suffocating her. Marinette shook her off after her arms loosened.

"Alya how many times do I have to tell you?" Marinette rolled her eyes, sighed before drinking her soda again. 

"Come on, you're no fun! I'll be over with Nino while you wallow your eyes out like every other party," Alya laughed, Marinette sat down and started tearing upwhile Luka spotted her.

"You okay miss?" Luka asked, tapping her shoulder before she slapped his hand away.

"I'm perfectly fine, thanks!" Marinette scooted away when Luka walked away from her, knowing she didn't want to socialize.

"Hey," Nathaniel greeted, Marinette ignored him while he kept agressively flirting with her.

"Quit it Nathaniel, you can see she didn't want to socialize," Luka said, pulling Nathaniel by his tie.

After the party, Marinette went to her rented apartment, she leaned over her balcony while a certain voice interrupted her.

"Hello princess," the voice whispered softly into her ear, startling Marinette while she quickly regained her composure.

"Who are you? I don't want you here!" Marinette yelled, walking towards her trapdoor, only for an arm to drag her away from her apartment.

And before she knew it, she was face to face with none other than the juvenile criminal deliqucent, Cat Noir, the second most feared criminal in Paris besides Hawkmoth, his father and gang leader.

"Si tu allias quelque part avec moi, oú serait-elle, princesse?" Cat Noir asked in French, surprising Marinette as she got out of his grasp, running inside of her apartment.

Locking her door, Cat Noir winked at her as she glared at him through her window.

'See you soon princess' Cat Noir mouths before saluting and leaping away.

"He's annoying," Marinette said, rolling her eyes scrolling through her phone while texting Alya.

What she didn't know was that he was going to see more than often, but she decided to play coy with him instead, which was something she instantly regretted when she saw Cat Noir over and over again.
