Chapter 57

Courtney

"Courtney originally played for the Ducks for Pee Wee hockey. Well, she got transferred to the Hawks, my Pee Wee hockey team. But before she came to my team, I saw her and thought she was the most beautiful girl ever, I swear.

One time, she took off her helmet and her hair just flowed out. It was amazing. Then when I figured out that she was coming to my team, man, I thought it would be the perfect time to try to get her to notice me.

When she came to the team, I could tell she was not happy with the team, mostly McGill. Then, uh, one day, that one day, Coach called her over. When she was skating over to him. We ran into each other. I though 'this is it, she noticed me'. Then a couple days later, after she won the championships, I asked her out, and she said yes.

We dated for four years after that, then I made the worst mistake by breaking up with her." James looked at me. "I still think you beautiful, and I still love you, Courtney." James replied. I did a little sad smile. A buzzer went off. I looked at the lady and she was crying.

"Okay, we're done, thank you." She said while wiping a tear. We all got up and left.

I was sitting on my bed trying not to cry. McGill and James had to stay at Grandma's house since they were part of the team. I didn't like the idea of that.

"Come on guys! Come down and look at the interview videos!" Coach yelled. We all went down the the theater. Coach was there. "Take a seat guys!" I sat down next to Adam. He put his arm around me.

"Hey. How'd it go?" Adam asked smoothly. I shrugged.

"Okay, I guess." I sighed. James sat next to Adam. Charlie sat next to me on the other side. Coach put the first interview up.

I saw us pop up. Answering the questions and everything.

"You look really pretty there." Adam implied. I smiled. The part on where James said all those things about me came up. I closed my eyes. Adam took his arm off of me and I felt him lean forward.

"I still think you beautiful, and I still love you, Courtney." James said in the video. I opened my eyes. Adam shot up and looked at James.

"Stop hitting on my girl!" Adam yelled.

"Adam!" I yelled.

"You were hitting on Courtney when she was mine!" James yelled as he shot up.

"Only because I loved Courtney more then you ever will!" Adam snapped.

"Sure you did." James snapped.

"Oh, so you wanna go there with me?!" Adam yelled.

"I can beat you faster then a snap of your fingers!" James yelled.

"Guys!" I screamed as I stood up. They looked at me. "I'm am so freakin' sick and tired of your damn fightin'! You fight all the time! Why can't you just, just learn to get along?! For me?!" I snapped. I looked around. Everyone was staring at me. I broke into tears, then ran out.
