Groggy mornings, and boring afternoons.

Pov: Karkat 

"Karkat, brother, wake up please I don't want you late for your school introduction." Kankri says lightly shaking me. 

I just give a groan and turn around, i do NOT want to do this stupid school introduction. Just because i don't have to be there the whole day since its a intro to how their school works doesn't make it any less enjoyable. Fuck school. I miss my old school, granted i didn't have any friends there but thats the way i liked it. Nobody bothered me and I did what i wanted. 

"Karkat please, i know this isn't something you are looking forward to. " Kankri says shaking me again.

"No shit Kankri." I say slowly sitting up only to be met with yet another face i didn't want to see in the morning. 

Cronus, kankri's boyfriend moved here with us. He's nice and all and loves my brother to pieces its just he's annoying, and his brother eridan lives down here and is aware i'm coming to his school so that should be...lovely.

"Morning pal,  do wwhat your brother says. I made you some breakfast." Cronus says with a sympathetic smile as him and kankri walk away. 

I get out of my bed and go to my closet and put on my black sweater and grey pants and then go to brush my hair being wary of my horns. I then travel to the bathroom to brush my teeth and hear cronus showering kankri in kisses as kankri giggles like a school girl on my way there. I quickly inhale my pancakes as i walk out and grab my phone and head towards the door. Cronus usually drives me places since kankri is to scared to drive and only does it when he has too. 

"you ready?" Cronus asks. 

"Yeah." I reply. 

as we walk to the car i hear kankri shout from the door,

"Good luck karkat!" 

"thanks" I mumble. 

This is going to be an utter shit show and i can already tell it is before I get the chance to walk through the door. As the car moves towards to school I look out the windows and see all the apartment buildings and houses, weird place Texas. It's so hot down here. Cronus's music is blasting throughout the speakers but thats ok since 1. im used to it, and 2. its not that bad. Suddenly I feel that car stop infront of the school. great. 

"YO CRO!" I hear someone exclaim out the window. 

"hey eridan wwhats up bro." He says smoothly. I don't dare turn around to face them, me and eridan don't always...get along. 

"oh yeah i forgot about you karkat" He says almost bored sounding.

"Yeah hey dipshit." I said angrily.

"alright you too no more of this. Eridan you better be there for karkat today." Cronus says glaring at him. 

"Wwhatever dude." Eridan says as we waves goodbye to cronus and walks into the school with his some long haired girl. I slowly step out of the car and look at the front of the school. Great just fucking wonderful. 

"Hey dude you got this." Cronus says trying to be encouraging 

"whatever." I say as i slam the door shut and make my way towards to doors.

I walk inside the cold school and shiver at the air conditioning, and i make my way to the office. There sat a lady with blue glasses and a big creepy smile. 

"Hi you must be karkat! My names jane! I work in the office as you can see, we are just waiting for your partner for the day to show you around, we matched you with someone who has the same schedule as you! his name is Dave strider, let me just ring his homeroom teacher!" She says a little too happy for my liking.
