Soojin and Soyeon were sitting by a table in the cafe outside Cube, with one seat empty- Shuhua wasn't there yet. "Why isn't she here yet... do you think she's okay?" Soojin said, checking the time on her phone for the hundredth time.
"Of course she is. She isn't a baby, Soojin, and she isn't even late." Soyeon said, crossing out parts from her lyric notebook, "Ugh, I'm stuck on this part. Maybe I should take a break." She put the notebook back in her bag, drumming her fingers on the table. Soojin picked at her nails and her phone started ringing- the number wasn't saved to her phone but she answered it anyway.
"Hello?" Soojin said.
"Jinjin! I'm right outside. I just called to tell you to save my number, hehe," said Shuhua.
"Oh, okay. So... should I end the call?"
"Hmm, no, not yet. What are you gonna save me as?"
"I don't know. Probably just your name- Shuhua."
"What? That's so boring. Let me come up with a better one. How about... Shushu. Or is that too plain?"
Shuhua's voice was getting progressively louder and echoed more throughout the call. Soojin could sense her -as if they were connected to each other- but before she could turn around, she felt someone's arms wrapping around her from behind and sliding her phone out of her hands.
"Hi unnie- here, I'll end the call now," Shuhua said,
"Shuhua! Give me back my phone!"
"But you can't just name me Shuhua. I'm going to pick my own." Shuhua typed in her number excitedly picked out a name. "All done. You can have it back now."
Soojin looked at the screen displayed on her phone, blushing immediately. "What's... this?"
"It's me! My number," Shuhua replied.
"Yeah... but why did you name yourself... baby? With a heart as well, um..."
"Why shouldn't I?" Shuhua said- their eyes connected for a moment. Soojin blushed even harder and avoided Shuhua's flirtatious gaze.
"Come on, let's order something. I'm paying this time. I have to practice ordering, like you told me." Shuhua ran off arm to arm with Soojin, Soyeon following behind them.

Soojin and Shuhua now had identical, overly-sweetened chocolate milkshakes. "Shuhua, I told you to order a strawberry milkshake. This is too sweet," Soojin said, after drinking some of it.
"But I don't like strawberries. Chocolate is way better when you get used to it."
Soyeon sighed loudly in the seat next to them, neglecting her mint chocolate milkshake. "Yuqi said she can't do it. Do you know anyone else who would?"
"Do what?" Shuhua said.
"Oh, that Korean tutor you were asking for. Yuqi said her schedule is too full and Miyeon unnie's just too lazy. Hmm... Soojin, could you tutor her? I'm pretty sure you don't have much to do on weekends, right?"
"I can, but I'm not sure if I would make a good tutor-"
"Yes you would! Can you please do it, unnie? Please?" Shuhua interrupted her.
"Well-" Soojin was about to make up an excuse, but saw Shuhua's pleading eyes. "Um, I'll... think about it."
"That's a yes, right? Great. I've arranged Cube to leave a room empty for you two," Soyeon said, and took a big sip from the milkshake that she turned her attention to.
"That's not... I said- never mind. I'll do it."
"Yay!" Shuhua said happily, giving Soojin a firm hug and a kiss on the cheeks, which she dodged.
"Shuhua! Stop it," Soojin said, though she couldn't stop herself from laughing.
"No!"
"Seriously, Shuhua!"
At the table next to where Soojin and Shuhua were giggling, Tzuyu was sitting uncomfortably. She swiped through several of the photos she took of them, sending all of them to a contact on her phone that was saved with a simple full stop as their name.
"I'm sorry, Shuhua..."
