It was a warm Sunday afternoon and Soojin was laid on her Sofa, checking her Kakaotalk- though she had no new notifications. Soojin's head was aching; she couldn't stop thinking about Shuhua, and she couldn't even accept the fact that she was. Had Shuhua eaten yet? Was she able to order herself proper food? Was she safe? Soojin sighed, clenching her phone and trying to get her mind off her boiling concerns about Shuhua. She scrolled through all the contacts she had on her phone and decided to talk to a friend she could always trust with her issues.

Soojin: hi. can you come over?
Soojin: I wanna talk about something.

Soyeon: sure.
Soyeon: are you okay?

Soojin: yeah, I just have something on my mind.
Soojin: also, you left your notebook here.

Soyeon: Okay. I'll be there in 20 minutes.

Soojin heard her doorbell ring and opened the door to greet Soyeon, who looked noticeably worried. "Are you really okay, Soojin? I know Sana being back is probably stressing you out," she said, taking off her shoes neatly and following Soojin to the living room.

"It's not that, I'm okay. I'm just confused... thank you for making time for me, by the way. I appreciate it," Soojin said.

"You're welcome, I'd always make time for you. So, what's the problem?"

"It's... uh, I have to ask you something first."

"Go ahead."

"How did you find out you were lesbian? And how does no one know- except me and Miyeon unnie. Minnie unnie and Yuqi too."

"Well," Soyeon said- then paused, trying to remember something, "I'm not really sure how I found out, maybe because I knew I wasn't keen on dating boys. I guess I've liked a lot of girls before and just brushed it off as being really good friends. I don't know... it's different for everyone. As you said, no one knows except a few friends, which is weird... I make it pretty obvious."

"Ugh, my head hurts. I've never really liked anyone before, so I don't know if this is it... I don't know if I like her. My heart beats really loud when I'm with her and I can't stop thinking about her. It's embarrassing." Soojin said, rubbing the side of her head.

"Who is it?" Soyeon asked.

"It's, um... she's-" Soojin said hesitantly, and at the same time, Soyeon's phone started ringing- her ringtone blaring aggressively.

"Aish. Sorry, let me take that call," Soyeon said, "Hello?"

"Hmph, Soyeon unnie! You said you'd give me Soojin unnie's phone number," a familiar voice spoke through the phone- it was Shuhua.

"Alright, I'll send it to you. Why didn't you ask her yourself?"

"I was going to, but I forgot."

"Hm. It's ironic, I'm with her right now. We were in the middle of a conversation."

"Ooh, really? Can I come join you? I wanna meet Soojin unnie!"

"I'll put you on speakerphone then," Soyeon said, "Soojin, it's Shuhua."

"Unnie! I missed you! It's been so long since I've last seen you," Shuhua said. The corner of Soojin's lips started forming a smile as soon as she heard Shuhua's adorable voice.

"It's only been three days or so," said Soojin, trying her hardest to bring the corners of her lips back down.

"That is a long time. Can I come and see you now?"

"Uh... yeah. Let's meet up at that cafe right outside Cube's office. Hold on- Soyeon, do you want to come too?"

"Maybe. I want to finish what we were talking about."

"Okay, okay. I'll tell you who. Shuhua, we'll be there in... 30 minutes. See you there."

"Okay, bye!"

Soyeon ended the call and looked at Soojin, who was still grinning ear to ear. "It's Shuhua, isn't it?" She said.

"Huh? No..." Soojin said, blushing profusely. "No, it isn't, I mean, maybe. Ugh... yes. It is. It's Shuhua."

"I'm not surprised. Is your headache gone?"

"Headache?" she said, "Oh yeah, it's gone. I guess I was over-worrying."

"Soojin, I think you do like her. I don't know if it's hard for you to accept -it kinda was for me when I found out I liked girls- but Shuhua is your first crush."

"Really? So this is a crush? Wow... if this is what it feels like to be having a crush, I don't want it. It just makes me embarrassed."

"But... don't you feel happy when you're with her? I've seen you smile every time she's even mentioned."

"Yes- but all of this would be for nothing if she doesn't like me back, right?"

"Ha, I wouldn't worry about that if I were you, Soojin. I'm pretty sure she does."
