CHAPTER Ten

SUMAYA POV

Today is my wedding and I am trying not to break down, firstly I miss my mum so much I wish she was here to witness this special day ,I know it will mean a lot to her , Secondly I don't see myself getting married to Zil , though I have always thought I hate him but some feelings have been brewing within me whenever we meet especially those kisses...damn that boy could kiss ,I know I have to do this for my dad to make him happy even if it's the last thing I will do to keep him happy...

  Sumayaaaaa what are you thinking about blacking out that long,Aliza asked ,a tear slipped and she hugged me ,she is a sister I never had and we understand ourselves without words ,

I know you miss her Su and I know she is happy wherever she is now okay,so stop the tears ,the makeup artist is here so behave ,you don't want to ruin the beautiful you ,..

Knowing the crazy friend I have I smiled assuring her,after sitting for almost an hour for the make up,I was not allowed to see myself so I was given my floral length lace white gown...oh how I love this cloth ,so simple yet dashing,its back a little low with an embodiment of little beads designed at the front,after wearing it and taking my little veil to cover my head....

Well am a Muslim so I have to cover my head,my dad is from Pakistan but was raised in New York where he met my mother who is a York though my mum is not a Muslim but she respect my dad's religion, though she never have one I know of ,....

After putting on my accessories and shoes ,Aliza took me to the mirror,I was speechless I look ... beautiful,wow is this me this looks like being transformed of some sought,I almost cried but remembered Aliza threat,I saw her wearing her pink lengthy gown with cream beads adorned,she looks so beautiful,,..

Aliza you look beautiful,thanks Su bit not as gorgeous as you,you look like a princess girl,...

Well I am,yes you are ,my dad walked in taking my hands and kissed them,my little girl is no longer little,I can't believe this you look so beautiful and grown ,I just want you to know that you are the best thing that happened to me and your mum,your birth to your smile,to your giggles, mischief and stubbornness but still we love you with all of your flaws,I know you miss your mum but know this she loves you soo much too and I know she will be smiling down seeing you take this step to a new beginning experience of your life ,I want you to tell me if you want to stop now because your happiness means a lot to me and if you want to leave after the wedding I won't fault you dear,but know this ,no relationship is perfect we are different individuals with different attitude so you have to be patient and accomodating,you have to listen to his opinions and know no one is perfect ,...I am so proud of you princess and don't forget you will always be my little princess,...

I can't control the tears,thank you dad I love you so much beyond words and will always do till the end of time ,I saw Aliza crying and I pulled her in for a group hug,the makeup artist was dumbfounded when she saw my face ,mam I think we need a little minutes to touch this up,...

After leaving the house ten minutes late with a nervous body and fears I don't know,Aliza talked about funny things to divert me,till we get to the venue,...

I was taken to the mosque first for the nikkah, Muslims wed first in the mosque before the reception,though I can't see Zil I know he was at the male side listening to the sermon the cleric was giving and signing of our wedding certificate,after spending thirty minutes in the mosque,I am officially Mrs luper,it's like am in a dream ,after getting hugs from friends and families with congratulations from all,we proceeded to the reception,

I can do this I kept repeating,after holding Aliza hands and getting down from the car my dad came around to take my hand and took me inside,the crowd stood up ,I was so nervous seeing familiar and strange faces I couldn't look up I was just walking with my dad lead,

I saw the couples chair at the front,and Zil was already seated,I don't even know what to say when am their or behave,he looks so handsome with his deep blue Armani suit and that haircut looks so cool on him,I can't believe am having this thought right now...

My dad placed my hand on zils and told him something i can't hear,he nods and I still can't look at him,

Maya please look at me , people are staring ,I looked up and met his gaze ,it was like seeing him for the first time,I was just staring at his black eyeballs and his perfect mouth down to his Adam apple ,oh girl what is happening to you...i noticed his mouth is still opened while staring at me, perhaps he doesn't like my look ,I was so angry he could at least pretend for the party....

I heard a friend give a speech about how perfect he is ,how he is good hearted and cool and all about their growing years and all, but  I was lost thinking about the guy sitting next and how am going to be stuck with him , especially this night....am done,

Maya you look so beautiful, I can't believe this is you I don't think I can touch you because I won't be able to control myself...

Really you love my look,of course I do ,so you are angry,can't you see the lost in my eyes ,you look like a princess with this elegance and all ,I just can't believe you are mine...

You look handsome too,oh thank you,..did he just say I am his,...

Listen Maya I know you don't love me and all but I want you to know this ,you are so beautiful and free spirited and your stubbornness is so cute and that is why I like you,...

I can't believe he likes me...today can't feel more dreamy,...

Lovebirds sorry for the interruption Aliza said ,but you are needed to cut the cake ,..

Zil took my hands and I felt this feeling crowding me ,I can't believe am married...

At the end of l.o.v.e. you will cut the cake ,L.o.v.e,we cut the cake and the crowds cheered ,now it's time to feed each other the anchor said..

Zil took a spoon and fed me and I also did the same , now the dance that is when perfect by ed-sheeran came up ,I love this song...

I found the one ,
For me, darling just dive right in and follow my lead ,I found the one beautiful and sweet.....

Zil placed his hands at by back and I laid a bit on his chest and swayed to the music,

It feels the music was talking to me because it seem so..not perfect but good all the same,

Are you happy,Zil asked,yes I said,thank you for being my wife I will try to give you my all even if not all,I will try to be the loving husband and your prince in shiny armour,..and being Mrs luper

I smiled hearing this ,I know he is trying to make an effort to see me happy,...

Thank you for being such an handsome husband and good hearted,

I saw him look me with lost and lower his mouth on mine taking my lips with an urgent need,I kissed him back with that need to taste him,that is when I heard cheers,I can't believe I forgot we are the centre of attention,I saw him smirked at me before looking ahead,I found my dad and Aliza giving me a teasing look ...

I saw a familiar face in the crowd and that is when I saw her ,alisha the famous ex of my husband smiling at me...
